What does it mean when someone has a playlist of music from different artists and they have a song from lady Gaga called brown eyes & they named the playlist pop icon does it mean that’s their favorite song or something?

it means that the people on that playlist are legends in that type of music

for example:

if you think of rock, you straight away think of AC/DC/ linken park, disturbed, green day, etc.

with pop you might think of lady gaga, michael jackson, britney spears, these are icons or legends- depending on what you want to call it

I think it just means songs on that Playlist are all pop genre.
I don't really understand what would be the connection between you and Lady Gaga song?

So you think it’s there favorite song and that’s why she put it as pop icon?

I think songs in that playlist are pop songs. That's why it's called pop icon. That's all. I don't see any hidden meaning or a metaphor in it.
I don't really understand why this is so important? Could you please explain more?

As I know it, a 'pop icon' is a distinguishable artist who is popular to the point of notoriety, that's all.
