Some of you are aware of the ongoing saga of trying to get my mother's house ready so I can put it on the market. The Condo Commandos (POA Gestapo) keep finding things to complain about, which means more work for me and more delays in being able to put it on the market.

I have this week off from work and hoped to get a bunch of work done. I was sick as a pup over the weekend = delay. One of the outside projects is taking WAY longer than I thought it would = delay. While we are not getting the freezing temps the rest of the country is I'm having to time when I paint the outside of the house = another delay.

Sheesh, it's taking me forever to get to my question. A couple I am friends with invited me to Turkey Day dinner. I'm debating not going so I can keep working on the house. Thanksgiving is not a big deal to them or me. And I really want to get this work done so I can sell the house. What would you do?

Personally I would go to Thanksgiving dinner. It's important to spend time with friends and it's just one day. But whatever you decide will be best for you. HUGS Kit

I don't even have to hesitate to say the dinner. I've spent many a holiday doing household chores that really did have to be done (sometimes even packing to move). I wish I had those holidays back now, just to relax and laugh with friends or family.

Honestly since your still recovering from germies I vote go to dinner.

Maybe paint Friday ?? While most of the jerks are out blowing all there money ?

You don’t need a big Fibro flare either

Take care of you

Thanks everyone. I'm glad I asked y'all. I have some strong workaholic tendencies that cause me to lose balance in my life. I'm going to spend the day with my friends.
