It's *finally* snowing again here, and I absolutely love when it snows! I love it, but my body doesn't agree with me lol... There's just something calming and mesmerizing about watching the snow fall in the night, blanketing everything with a pristine, shimmering, white, newness. I usually sleep much better after watching the snow fall.

What about you? Do you like snow?

I love how it looks but hate HATE having to drive after it's fallen and then the shoveling it? ICK. So overall I guess I hate it more than love it but it is very pretty to look at.

Me!!!!! I LOVE snow too!!! I love to see it falling and to hear it crunch under my feet! Presently, I don't have to get out when the weather is bad, but I worry about my friends who do.

That said, I also love Snow Art and Epic Snowball Fights:!

For example:

I love the snow, do you?

I love the snow, do you?

Love the snow and miss the winters of 30yrs ago that put snow on the ground for the entire season...i miss being able to cross country ski out my door...
Waiting for another snow now...hoping, the last was washed away in rain...
Never minded digging out either---and as a nurse I always had to go to work...something exhilarating about a snow storm...sigh

It looks pretty and sparkly. But trying to live around it in a city suburb where the transport grinds to a halt with little more than a few flakes is very anxiety provoking for me, I feel trapped. Thankfully it very rarely snows here.

Thank you all for your replies! I love snow art as well, though not really into snowball fights...

The snow last night/early this morning was brief....it promptly turned into sleet and freezing rain. We now have a sheet of ice that is an inch or two thick everywhere that I can see. I'm not sure about the roads as I haven't been outside other than to salt the stairs and porch. I do know that the yard and all sidewalks are suitable for skating. It's still pretty, but hazardous. I hope no one gets hurt.

Yes but these days, starting mid-February, I'm pretty much done with the novelty. I do particularly love early November snows and those rare late spring blizzards that don't last.

The silence of falling snowflakes is like some kind of magic potion to me. It is my single favorite nature thing on the planet, along with scuba diving, which creates a similar kind of mesmerizing state in me. Time stops and there is ever briefly a window into the eternity of the universe. And I am happy.

In my boring, sheltered life, I've never actually been in the snow[!] I've seen it on the mountaintops but that's all. I do love how it looks, yes.

I like snow as long as I don't have to drive in it. I'm from the south. Too many bad experiences with snow and ice. But it is pretty after it falls. And even when it is falling.

I love the snow and everything about it! Alas, I’m from the South where we don’t get much snow. I wish we did. I’d love a blizzard or two!

I miss having lots of snow!! We used to have the snow around for months. Now it’s lucky if it lasts a day or even an hour.
