What are three nice things that have happened to you today, or that you did for yourself?

Mine are: I ordered breakfast instead of cooking, I decided to order Bourjois make up as my Christmas gift, and I am going for a walk in an hour.

Since today just started for me...well...

1) I woke up and got out of bed when my alarm went off
2) I checked in on my guy who threw out his back at work and teased him with telling him I bought a couple things for his Christmas gift
3) Later I'll be cleaning house for both my client and at home, and working on a budget to figure out how much I can pitch in financially for my parents.

Oh, the day continues! I finally had breakfast at a reasonable time AND before my shift! I had 2 eggs scrambled with shredded cheese, an Activia, and a banana. I am going back on my diet and I'm working on eating mindfully.

I listened to one of my favorite heavy metal bands Volbeat

I'm about to comb my hair instead of putting a beanie on my head.

Little things called self-care make a world of difference!

Three nice things:

1) I'm watching "Once Upon a Time" .
2) I'm resting in bed.
3) I sent some handmade cold process soap to an old friend. He sent me $20 in return.

Went to work (grateful to have a job to go to)

Came home to my pig (happy to have a home, and a pig, and the car to get me back and forth)

Snuggled in my warm bed studying (grateful for the opportunity to get an education).

Such a nice thread!!!

I don't think I have three... well... let me try:

1. I had cheesecake with lunch. I was starving (trying to adjust my eating, but ended up with not enough I think... because even after breakfast, I was *starving*) - and the cheesecake was so delicious and filling!

2. I'm wearing a sample of a pretty perfume that makes me happy every time I smell it. It's from Sephora, "Elixir 11" - and it's mostly a sweet, fruity rose. Not fancy, but just pretty and happy.

3. I put gas in my car at lunch. Not exciting, but I'm glad that it's done!
