The weather is in cahoots with covid19. Snowing. April 9th. You got to be kidding me. Anyone else has bizarre weather now? The latest I remember ever snowing was April 1st.

It is near 90 here in Texas, which is pretty normal for April.

Spring typically non existent here. Usually it’s winter. Then wake up one morning and it’s summer. Skip spring. But it never snowed that late.

Yeah we have family in Texas. Surprisingly I don’t find heat unbearable because it’s dry. And we typically visit in the summer.

Its been snowing, hailing and sunny alternatively all day. The only constant is the wind. Very bizarre day.

Oh wow. Yeah IL, especially by the lake, is known for strange weathers. Very hot summer and brutal winter.

Back in Chicago in the 1970’s or 60s it was a really nice and sunny day in mid April, and then during the afternoon they got hit with a blizzard and the women at the office were wearing high heels. They had no way to know the storm was coming since they didn’t have the weather technology back then. And since it was the middle of April, they weren’t expecting a monster snow storm.

In Scotland we have a saying "Ne'er cast a clout until May is oot" Which means roughly don't throw out your winter clothes until May is out which also means don't put away your winter clothes until June essentially

I don’t know why they didn’t know it was coming then and why they didn’t have the proper shoes or clothing. Half the stories my mom tells me she tells me over and over again but changes details. Now they just go in one ear and out the other.

LOL I'll have to look it up! I have a couple such snow stories of my own, but no kids to torture with!
