Omar has a big heart

I just can't understand how people who have money can live with themselves when millions of people and heavens knows how many animals are in a lot of pain now. I've spent most of my entire life working on huge global scale projects to help the world. Guess that's my BPD, and I should have focused on smaller more doable projects. Hoping one day I can survive long enough to make a lot of money to help others. Can't imagine why else I'm here on this human planet that saddens me to no end.

I'm sorry you're feeling sad. It's just a perception. A perception you can change into a happier one. CBT is helpful in that it teaches you to reframe your thoughts. Honor your feelings by feeling them and then work toward feeling better. Safe hugs.

Humanity can be cruel and selfish, but I find that there are some decent people in the world who are giving and concerned about others.

I'm glad you're reaching out. Thank you!

Well, that's an admirable aspiration to want to help people! Humanity can be crazy sometimes and can seem like it's full of evil. But there really are good people out there, I'm convinced.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry took so long to reply but I forgot to subscribe to the thread. It doesn't automatically subscribe me anymore.

Deilla, my ex-therapist does CBT but I'm not sure if she did it on me. I'd like to find a beaming bigheart therapist who does CBT and DBT, in California.
