I know there are threads for me to respond to and I will get to them. Ive been up with my sick dog all weekend I fear I may have to put him down today. Our appointment is at one. He has congestive heart failure and fluid in the lungs already but stopped eating. I will update and respond soon. Because Of my recent thread about being a selfish baby I didnt want anyone to think I was falling back into old habits.

I’m so sorry Sarah. It’s so hard when having to face this challenge. I had to do the same thing with my little shitzu and I cried and cried for a while. My little one’s heart was slowly failing too and same thing where his lungs would fill with fluid.

Honestly as hard as this was and is you did the humane thing. Things do get worse and they suffer and we don’t want them to suffer because we love them. ❤️😥

I understand....I lost Leo almost 2 years ago & I still have days I cry. Some of our fur babies have a heart connect with us & they leave a hole in our heart forever. It's ok....just shows how much love you had fpr each other & that is special

I had to put my cat down a couple of years ago. Even though it was very sad, I know it was the right thing. She was not eating and probably in pain. Now she's not suffering.

Duke knows that you loved him and he loved you. You gave Duke a great life. Remember all the good times you and Duke had together. That way, he will remain with you always, in your heart.

Hey everyone

We buried him by the apple tree and left a spot for his brother when the time comes. We didnt want a stone in the ground that could get covered, sink or get stepped on. I found a wonderful company that does markers like this and could customize it the way we wanted.
