do you really use diffrent passwords for diffrent things? (well it's what they say, right?)
I actually used to use medication names as passwords, to remind me to take them now I have about 3 diffrent passwords, which I modify slightly for diffrent services (non medication related) |

I used to have tiered passwords for things like three levels from low to high security but then if one is cracked you’ve gotta change it on everything so now I have unique passwords for everything.

I use a password manager that develops really hard passwords to crack. It's a good practice for me because I have so many different accounts. If you choose this route, though, you have to make sure you remember the "master" password. Otherwise you cannot log in to anything. But it has helped me organize my password life, if you will.

I use words in a different language. Words from a specific category-very random thing I decided on. I don’t see how anyone could possibly ever guess my passwords

I have a few passwords that I use for more than one site, but do try to use unique ones for certain ones. In order to deal with the vast numbers, I use LastPass.

I keep meaning to start using a password manager. I think that's really smart, and it ensures you have unique, difficult to figure out passwords.
Right now, I have a secret, password-protected file where I keep passwords, which is definitely not ideal. But I can't remember all of them, and I tend to pick really weird/hard combinations that are impossible to keep straight. Plus, I use it to keep notes - like if it's a password to something that will renew/expire in a year, I can jot down the date. But, yes! You should definitely have a different password for everything you log in to! If you don't, and any one of those sites/apps gets hacked... the first thing the hackers will do is take your email or user ID and password, and try it on a bunch of other sites, to see what they can gain access to. |

ditto, if I could actually speak another language to begin with. lol. that said: google translate is your friend. I once had a whole conversation in german with someone using that tool, and though people say it's not exact, and it's very off, we got by just fine and she thought I was a native german speaker by the end |

For me it would be easier to recall a password in a language other than English. Great idea, divine.

I use the same password for 90% of websites. It's a very simple sentence about my dog 😊 if the website requires capital letters, I simply write the dogs name in capitals. I've been using the same thing for about 10 years lol
