Is there a song you liked better from an album that you believe was better than the hit single on the radio of a certain artist?

I kinda like Calum Scott’s version of Dancing On My Own better than the original one sung by Robyn. Same with the version of Teenage Dream. I like the one done by Boyce Avenue better than the original one done by Katy Perry.

There had been quite a few for me. The one I can remember was the debut album by Firefall (album was called Firefall). I liked all of the songs (tracks) on that album better than their hit song "You Are The Woman".

on an album by one direction, their is a song called " more than this"

that is so much better than that's what makes you beautiful, I think

also, westlife's version of " the rose" is defenetly overlooked.

1 more: on micca's latest album, their is a song called "rio"

it is brilliant, and never even made it to the charts here

Ooooh I'll have to check that out! I actually really like One Direction, not a superfan but one of my guilty pleasures!

Do you like Harry Styles' new music? I'm not too impressed. And I had no idea Niall Horan was in One Direction but he makes good music too, better than Harry Styles I think!

And I'll have to check out "Circle the Drain". Not a huge fan of Katy Perry but she does put out some good songs.

In fact, I was planning on turning on my Spotify right now so I'll take a listen and tell you what I think!

Whoa Rage! That Katy Perry song was awesome! I added that to my pop playlist. The OD song didn't work for me but that's okay. I got a new song out of it, that's all that matters! ^__^

it's very rare that I like anyone's music who's split from a band. usually I figure well, they are in a band for a reason, because they sound **** solo

only exception are a couple of songs by robbbie williams. " angels" is a good song. and " let me entertain you".

despite his popularity, I really don't like phil colins. I didn't like him in the band either

I have 3 more to add.

jason mraz's song " love for a child" is a lot better than I'm yours (I find that song annoying actually, too repetitive)

neil diamond has a song called " brooklyn roads", all about his life in new york

and the king himself mr elvis presley has a song called "moody blue"
Thanks for this!

"take a bow", from leona lewis- the only track I like by her.

I think it would have been a hit too, if rehanna hadon't come out with a song called that (diffrent song) and actually made it in to the charts with it.
