No politics please!

What is the most shocking (good or bad) that you've seen on a TV show?

The worst: There was an episode on Family Guy where they had a musical number called "Prom Night Dumpster Baby"...I thought that was absolutely revolting.

The best: Kodi Lee (blind/autistic singer) on America's Got Talent and the Sad Clown that sang Sia's "Chandelier" on America's Got Talent...they both blew me away. In fact a lot of my good/bad come from AGT. I think it's a great show.

Here is Kodi Lee:

This episode of Cheaters where this girl and the Cheaters Team busted in on her boyfriend and his girlfriend who were like wearing diapers and stuff. I was watching it with my dad and we were like wtf.

Way back in the day George Carlin had a routine about the seven words you can't say on television. I've since heard all seven words on tv.

For shocking/disturbing I would have to say watching news footage of George Floyd's death. We were "treated" to video of a man dying on the nightly news.

Worst - on the national news maybe a couple of years ago - people letting fireworks off directly at a firefighter crew they’d called out.
Best, probably watching Susan Boyle sing on Britain’s Got Talent. Most people were focussed on her dowdy appearance even after her performance but she blew everyone away with her rendition of I Dreamed a Dream.

Ouch. But it’s not uncommon. I’ve never met anyone who did it irl but I’ve read online about people breastfeeding that late, shudders. 3 is school age. Preschool. Would mom come in to feed kids lunch during school day?

This happened a couple of decades ago And in a different state but the local news showed a close up of a dead baby found in a paper bag.

I wouldn't consider that shocking. It's just a personal choice imho. It doesn't hurt anyone.

Any "Family Guy" Jewish antisemetic moments, particuarly "Once upon a Weinstein": 2nd example Singing the song "Don't need money. From "Power of Love " by :"Huey Lewis & the News. The background band is Jewish. Background band leaves when they hear "Don't need money" A clear slight to Jews thinking only of money, infamous stereotype.

Reality Tv shows are something I just don't get at all. Not as bad as other programs I know, but, given I tend to watch little TV, when I do come across things I often do not know what to think.

Many horrific moments witnessed, too many to recount. I leave the television off the majority of the time, because I have a terrible habit of walking in the room JUST when the most awful things are being aired (news, cop shows, murder mysteries, movies, anything), you name it!

And like an awful lot of highly sensitive peole who are also very visual, I can't shake things off like many people can. Horrifying things stay with me for much too long.

So I have to really monitor what I view, and when.

I do not remember the actual name of the show. The content was about shocking ways to die. Really strange, odd and sickening.

On Live PD they walked in on a man in a motel room wearing lingerie tied up to a bed all alone who claimed he didn't know how he got there.
