This might be a bit niche but I'm getting so excited for the new Amnesia game coming out, it supposed to come out on the 20th of this month. I do love some good horror. I don't like just horror though, I play a lot of IHOGs. My friend gave me her old PS for my birthday, which as sad as it is is the first console I've ever had aside from PC. I am trying and failing to play Resident Evil. I'm really rather terrible at games but I love them anyway. I'm watching my friend play through Breath of the Wild right now and it's a beautiful game. So what about you? What games do you like?

I don't play them.

growing up I had a sega megga drive- playing things like sonnic and mario I guess helped a bit with curing the lonelyness of childhood

the only other memory I have of video games is playing final fantasy while at someone's house.

but I've not played a video game now for.... well, I don't know. 10 + years.

I hope you like the new game

I play Final Fantasy XI and World of Warcraft. WoW was supposed to release Shadowlands this month. I was looking forward to that. But they sent out a letter this week stating that the release has been delayed. I hope you enjoy the new game. Yea, I can relate to getting excited. I love games a lot.

I'm a gamer too! I just bought a remastered version of a game I first played 20 years ago: Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction.

I found this description of it:
Diablo II: Lord of Destruction (commonly abbreviated LoD) is an expansion pack for the popular Action Role-Playing game Diablo II. Unlike the original Diablo's expansion pack (Diablo: Hellfire), it is an official expansion designed by Blizzard Entertainment.
More than a standard expansion, Lord of Destruction not only added content in the form of new character classes and an additional scenario, it also dramatically revamped the gameplay of the existing Diablo II for solo and especially multiplayer. As a result, LoD is largely considered a "must-buy" instead of only being an addition, making it a huge multiplayer success and one of the most successful expansion packs of all time.

I tried the Diablo 3 version, but I am not crazy about it. I love playing Diablo 2 again. It's old and a bit clunky but I am having fun! I love being able to name my characters.

For example, here are the ones I currently play:

Video games!

I play hidden object games also, but not the interactive ones. That is new to me. I get most of my HOGs from Big Fish Games. They have tons of new games and are always running sales.

That's where I get mine! I do play HOGs but I like the interactive aspect of IHOGs. I used to have a membership, then I ran out of money.

I have a Nintendo Switch and an Xbox One X. I play a lot of Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley and RPGs. I enjoy Grand theft auto and Red Dead Redemption too.

I hear you on the money part! Which games do you play from there? My favorite I play over and over is Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst. There are several in that series, but I like that one the most. It is closer to strictly HOG without the other "puzzles" that mostly frustrate me.

I have brain damage from depression and compex ptsd and have gotten better over the years and the puzzles don't frustrate me as much as they did, so I am grateful for that. In some of the games, I can see how I manage some of the puzzles better than I did, so that helps me.

What are the names of the games on there you like to play?

MCF FTW! All the MCF are good but my favourite is probably Return to Ravenhearst. But oh there are so many good games. Drawn: The Painted Tower is a beautiful game. Both of the Shivers. The Haunted Halls......I kinda like the creepy ones. I love the puzzles, I mean I'm not that good at them but I try.

I don't play video games, but - and I'm being serious when I say this- I really enjoyed hearing you talk about them. You sound passionate and it made me wish I did play!

@WovenGalaxy

There are some super fun games to play!! Some you can play on your own and there are a ton you can play with other people. I have met some kind, fun people through my gaming. One lady and I have been friends for several years. She is also in recovery, is happily married, lives in Germany, travels around Europe, posts lots of pictures for me to drool over, and is a kind loving, decent human being!

And, there have been some I blocked out of my life, but there are all kinds! Plus, whe the graphics are good some games are jaw-droppingly (not a real word-I just made it up) Beautiful! And there are tons that are free to play.
