Talk about going from 0 - 60 in a couple of days. I went from just finishing updating my resume, to having 2 job interviews tomorrow.

The first position is a work from home customer service rep.

The second is a sales representative position with a financial services firm.

They'd both be part time to start, which is all I think I can handle initially and then have the possibility to move to full time.

I'm spending today prepping for them.

Could use good luck vibes, as I've been out of the workforce for years.

Thanks.

Interview update.

Interview 1 was a complete waste of time. Their technology for the interview sucked. The recruiters weren't communicating with each other. And they insisted that you have hard wired internet at home - wireless wasn't acceptable. Duh? I've had wireless internet for 15 years and am not going to go backwards. So after 15 min. into the interview, I said I didn't think it would be a good fit and left.

Interview 2 went really well. The interviewer and I really clicked. It's a commission sales position so it's a bit risky, but they have good products and I like their sales model. We're both interested in moving forward with the process, so I have another interview this afternoon to finalize the application, and start the process of getting set up. Before I can start, I have to get a bunch of licenses so I'll need to study for them. But they provide complete training, and will reimburse my licensing fees once I pass the exams. So fingers crossed that a glitch doesn't come up in today's interview.

I’m glad one is promising and they will pay for your licensing.
