pigs in blankets are the best!. I have them all year round they are so yummers.

I need to still get a chocolate advent calendar (I want a lint one), and maybe when lockdown ends I might see if I can get a few more decorations

I still have to get my Christmas tree. It will be my first Christmas in my new apartment. Will likely just be a dollar store $15-$20 artificial tree but it will still be nice I've been putting on Christmas music lately and it puts me in a good mood.

I’ve been having Christmas music on while in the car but I’m not in the mood for much else that’s Christmas. I know I’m getting a tortilla blanket though. I used to buy Christmas candy each year but I would never eat it so I just skipped it this year.

Is a tortilla blanket a blanket with tortillas printed on it? I like things like that. I found ring shaped cushions with printed donut designs in a local shop a while ago, but didn’t like the price!
I’m still working on some knitted presents and a couple of decorations, but not quite in the Christmas spirit yet.
Thanks for this!

I've been listening to Christmas music the past three days at work. My Dad put up our tree this afternoon so I can work on decorating it this weekend. It's a tad earlier than usual but 2020 has been so crappy. Looking forward to something cheerful!

It's a bit too early for me to do Christmas, still...but I have been buying some stocking stuffers and little treats and squirreling them away.

And, in 2 weeks' time, watch out! I will put up the tree, and wind up the music box!

(start it at 27 seconds) It fills the whole house with lovely music!

The weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
There is simply no place to go
Home is where the heart is,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....
Thanks for this!

Feel like baking holiday cookies and candy, and even decorating for Christmas, but holiday music is only enjoyable maybe one week or two before Christmas. One of the local radio stations plays Christmas music starting on Nov 1st.

I don't like Xmas music. I enjoy watching films closer to the time. I used to be a last minute shopper : >

It's a little too early for Christmas music, for me, too. I usually wait until December before I start indulging in and enjoying all that stuff.

I’m also getting a weighted sleep mask. I usually ask just for gift cards but I got odd ones last year so this year I’m being very specific. Last year my sister and brother in law gave me 1 golden girls doll and 2 wizard of Oz dolls. And to be honest I was a bit offended for personal reasons. Even though I know they meant well and it’s the thought that counts. I had given them $100 in gift cards. My brother and mom were also miffed at their gifts from them.

Everyone in my family this year is getting $25 gift cards. I try to go all out for my family but without a job and a lot of medical bills it’s gonna be tight for me.

We've got the outdoor Christmas lights up! It snowed last night, and stuck around. It's beginning to look a bit like Christmas....

I love Christmas because i spend it alone with the heating on, and use the internet watching youtube. I use the day of self reflection and include God in my day.
Thanks for this!

I like lindt chocolate : D Not tried the mixed flavours, only the milk choc. I'm trying to stick to dark chocolate. I had a Thorntons calendar few years ago. Present from a friend. I did not stick to the days. Couldn't resist opening more than one door..

Husband mentioned that, too, tonight on the way home from shopping, WG. There do seem to be more people decorating for Christmas this year.
Thanks for this!
