I'm still formulating mine.

I want to increase the length and quantity of my walks/hikes, to be more disciplined in healthy eating, and to only have alcohol and candy once a week.

I really need to lose weight. I used covid as an excuse for eating too much and not exercising. Also I need a to spend less on unnecessary stuff.
Thanks for this!

I don't have any this year. I do have a lot of goals, but they are continual life goals, not new years resolutions.

Good luck with yours! I like the idea of having a "cheat day" while eating healthy the rest of the time. Or at least attempting to!
Thanks for this!

I am very goal-oriented as well. New Year's to me is more of a check in and a reflection of what I accomplished this year and how I can improve. Its nice to have resolutions that everyone can talk about and hold each other accountable and cheer each other on. Its never too late to set a goal.

I am afraid to make any. But yes, weight loss.

Happy to say I lost 20 lbs in 2020. Via Keto, Intermittent fasting, and fasting. Since my workplace has told me we definitely won't be back until March, plan on using the time wisely.

Agreed! I used to get into the resolution and new year thing. I think it feels different for me this year bc of covid. Not in a bad way though. It's just different for me.

Some of my goals: like you, I want to exercise more, do yoga daily, and eat healthy. I also just started this goal of reading a book a week. In the new year my plan is to go back to school.

I want to be a lot more productive in therapy

I want to stay out of IOP

I want to lose 34 pounds in a healthy way

I want to get my second top surgery done and hopefully get a hysterectomy as well

I want to start work again

And I want to be more positive and accepting about my move

I don’t have much success with resolutions but rather I set soul based intentions:

Vibrant health and an outer body temple that reflects the radiant soul inside.

Expand my tribe with amazing people and have deep, meaningful connections.

Spend joyful, abundant time with my daughter.

I too prefer to set intentions. These are mine for the new year:

1. Be able to walk around my block by spring.
2. Get out of the house more (sit at the gazebo or go to the park).
3. Take care of my medical appointments.
4. Reach a healthy weight.

I want to return to church. it is one thing I have missed this year because of covid. on the subject of religion, I really need to read scriptures/devotions more, no matter if that be online or actually in a book.
away from religion, I want to get back in to journalling, find a therapist who sees me as someone they can help (not just a hopeless case), and me more accepting of my failing health- I think sometimes I look at my body and feel an enormous sense of loss, I need to realise that some of these problems arn't my fault

I don't know if this qualifies as a resolution, but I would like to try to get out more (when the covid thing is gone) so I can become more accustomed to being around people. That's probably the biggest reason I continue to have social anxiety, is that I don't allow myself to get used to being around people.

None....I don't believe in making resolutions that will end up being broken anyway & if change in my life is needed, I change when it becomes necessary not just at the beginning of the year

I don't make them because I never keep them, except for the last one I made which was to never make another NY resolution.

My main: get my working abroad visa. This was actually my 2020's. Honestly I'm not sure if it possible to do it this year too, but let's hope so.

My other goals:
- get better skin, less comedo and less dark circle
- do a simple exercise to straighten my knee again

I never form resolutions for the new year. For me, the fastest way to a failed resolution is to set one in the new year.
