I’ve heard of this before but I don’t know what it means and I couldn’t find much online. Is it just like being your own support system and not relying on other people?

Usually when I read or hear someone say 'a student of such and such' I think they mean it's all about great learning. In this case learning about one's self and what makes you tick, learning to grow, understanding your self, etc. Learning to be self supportive for sure, but also learning/knowing in what areas you might need support from external sources too. So yeah, that's my basic interpretation of it, Mountaindewed.

A 'student of self.' I like that. 🙂👍

Yeah, I see it as someone who is introspective, and finding out who they are.

I googled this and it gave me a bunch of vague answers that didn't really answer your question. I am not sure, I have never heard this term before.

I've kept a quote about knowing ones self and I am sad I can no longer find it. The quote listed five ways to know yourself but I only remember the first two were something about knowing how to blow off steam and knowing your own limitations. I've searched and searched, maybe I should make up the remaining three.
