I wear a hat everywhere I go. Every doctor/therapist I meet with is able to use my hat as an ice breaker and conversation starter to figure out what kind of mood I’m in. It’s kinda almost become code at this point. I’ve had store employees comment on it too.

I usually wear a hat too.

In olden days, a woman's worth was evaluated by how well she trimmed her hat, it was a feminine skill. Sometimes i pin a weird flower or ribbon to my black cotton helmet liner and tell people that tidbit if they comment on the flourish. People do not usually understand that i am making a gender statement.

I always match my clothes.

I don’t mean it is all one color. But it’s matching like I always have an outfit going, not just wearing clothes (like my jewelry match my clothes and my belt matches my shoes and then purse go with the coat etc). People always comment on it. Couple of people at work have jokes about it, not mean, just poking fun. I make fun of it myself.

So I see it as my trademark I guess. I have couple of other ones.

I have to admit my masks match my outfits. I am for real the only one at work who does it. Smh. Definitely trademark of “matchy matchy girl”

I am like you a vast collection of hats ,I were all kinds and styles ,although some I don't actively wear anymore because they have a rear brim that gets in the way of the headrest on my wheelchair , I have accounts at to many Habedasheries and if I am was unable to find a certain hat style in production , I had a Hollywood hat "prop" studio that would make it for me ,( they have made hats for actors to wear in movies since the start of films , so they make amazing hats everything from italian peasant caps to pith helmets and boller's , they can do it .so both my hat and my radio tells people about me , friendly, creative, funny, good at putting people at ease , and good at deescalating someones bad day, able to hold up my end of a conversation ,not many shy introverts pursue a career and hobby of public service and talking to strangers on the radio around the world ,about whatever the group is talking about when you get on the air . So literally my radio and hats speak volumes about me .I would think another trademark people compliment me on all the time is my long bushy gray beard ( everybody digs it),they just don't know ,I have a beard because my health is such that my skin doesn't like shaving anymore , easy to trim a beard than shave , of course because it's so grey nobody believes I am in my early fifties , many people say "hey grandpa" and I answer to it. my Girlfriend is in her 60's they think she is my daughter and my aide is my granddaughter when we go out ( when nobodies throwing a pandemic).

I’m not sure I have one, apart from all my T-shirts having a slogan or motif, and I tend to wear the same clothes for days at a time before deciding to wear something else (outside of work). It’s something that probably would be noticeable to observant people if I wasn’t the hermit type!

I'd say my hair. Especially in recent years. It's very thick, and has been wavy to downright curly. People comment on it a lot, including strangers in various countries around the world, as well as in my native country of the US. Always in a positive way. It's definitely a distinguishing characteristic of mine. When I wear it back in a ponytail or bun, people who know me sometimes comment that they like it better down and/or that I look so different with it up. When I briefly lived in Asia, I literally had people come up and touch it on the streets. Once when I went to Beijing, my host family mother insisted on brushing and blow drying it. [Definitely a bit awkward feeling for me.] In Taiwan, the owner of a prestigious salon insisted on doing my hair, while about three or four other stylists watched.

Another thing that gets me attention are my coats. My husband likes to buy me beautiful colorful ones. I can't even remember how many times they've been complimented, again by many strangers in public. Hate to say it, but I've received so many that when I respond, I simply regurgitate that my husband is the one to be complimented. Truth is, when you look around, so many people wear the same colored coats (mostly tan, gray or black) with similar cuts. Even I notice others who wear unique coats. They are not even easy to find.

I'm also a member of the gap-toothed crowd, though almost no one has ever commented on that. If a dentist wanted to fix it, I'd refuse. Actually, my old dentist was gap-toothed, too. There are a number of us out there, including Madonna, Michael Strahan (love him), Vanessa Paradis, Anna Paquin, and many more. Again, some see it as a flaw, and others see it as a wonderful distinguishing feature.

Also the way I talk is kinda trademarkish. I can’t pronounce my R’s or S’s. I talk like JoJo Siwa only deeper and not fast. I also talk really softly. Some kid in Jr. high asked why I whispered when I talked and my Jr. High teacher said it was sexy. Lol. No one comments on it anymore so I am not self conscious about it. I never really was but people are assholes especially kids.

I wear weird jewelry that I make myself. I am always on the hunt for funky beads.

Hm. Not appearance-wise, because I don't really care about my appearance, but I talk rather properly. And I am articulate. And so people notice that about me. And when I'm in a bad mood I don't talk as much so people know I'm in a bad mood. I am an introvert, but even still, people can tell if I'm not responding with my normal ebullience.
