TRIGGER WARNING TRIGGER WARNING

Today is the day Scotland comes together to remember

Wednesday 13th March 1996 we will never forget

Possible trigger:

This is in Scottish history as our worst nightmare

Possible trigger:

This hit my family hard as my Dad had a friend who's children were at that school we were frantic with worry.

In years to come we had The Snowdrop Campaign. This made it illegal to have a gun. Since then we have never had another gun issue.

There is a documentary on at every special time for the children and there was one for their 25th Anniversary I'm still to watch it.

Today is a day of remembrance

That was before the first school shooting in America. One good thing that came from the pandemic is I thought at least my son and all students don’t have to deal with another school incident like that. He did distance learning this year.

The siblings of one of the girls killed in Dunblane Primary School in 1996 are trying to get better gun control for America. But I don't know how that will happen. I heard that on the news the other night.

Honestly our schools became safer since then we were all opened planned easy access now its hard to get into schools as an adult and teachers are vigilant too

School shootings..what a terrible thing. For awhile we did constant trainings and practices what to do if a shooter is inside/outside. But somehow they decided we don’t need one this year even though we’ve been in person all along. No common sense.

It's horrifying. I'm sorry, Laura, that your country has that terrible stain on its history.

We grew stronger together

We stand tall every year

We won the fight with the government. This was before Scotlsnd became a democracy so we had to go to England and the English Parliament. We won though thankfully.
