Hi all,

I recently bought a PC instead of a Mac, after having a macbook for 10 or 11 years (the same one).

Does anyone have any tips for getting used to Windows?

I used to use windows in the past but now I am a bit rusty at navigating it I guess.

Anyway, any advice or tips would be cool. Or if you just want to share that's cool too.

Hi, thanks for replying! It's windows 10. I am figuring it out, haha. I just downloaded a game - the Sims 4 so we'll see how that goes.

Ugh. Windows 10 is a pain in the butt. It's the reason I switched from being a lifelong PC user to now a happy Mac user. Mac computers never have any worms or viruses or corrupted files like PCs.

The advice I have? Return your PC and buy a good used Mac from the internet.

I find for most jobs nowadays, you have to use Windows 10 on a PC.

I know, haha. That's why it's pretty ironic. My Mac could run Windows. But I figured, what's the point of getting another Mac if these programs I need for work only run on Windows?

Yeah, you're right. I know it's not as black/white of a distinction anymore that a PC is a work computer and a Mac is an art computer, etc.

Anyway, I still have my old MacBook Pro just in case I need to use it for whatever sentimental reason. Haha.
