Me, right now I don't want to see anyone. Period. Ever. I just want to do my puzzle and than order a new one.

Less distraction from people who know nothing. More time to be mindful. Maybe I can finally grow up. Maybe a saving grace.

I still only want to see certain people I’m ok and comfortable around. I do plan on going back to work in August which I’m a bit worried about since I’ve been isolating since last June and I’ve mainly seen only family and doctors since last March.
But things are getting better and I’m seeing more people and getting more comfortable. I’m just doing it slowly. I can go out to stores now on weekends and my agoraphobia isn’t as bad as it was before. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

I think it may take me some time to adjust to driving long distances and seeing people again. I don't think I'll be able to handle crowds for a while.

For me I’m saving a ton of money cause I go nowhere and I’m not really a online spender. So long term, my savings is growing

I have saved a lot on gas and tolls. I had to take a toll road into the office.

We're also saving a ton of money not eating out or shopping as entertainment. I wonder if that will continue or if we will go back to old bad habits?

I have never isolated. Owning a farm & having to go to the feed store twice a month & grocery shopping & I go to church, I have never really isolated. We have cut down our social activities but we still don't isolate. It has been business as usual. Rural living is totally different than living in a city

It will be a challenge for me to socialize again. Getting together with a friend seems like a huge obstacle to overcome, but I will cherish f2f contact with my mental health support team when the clinic reopens for in-person. I will never take a hug for granted again.
Mostly, I'll have to watch out for developing agorophobia-like tendency to isolate and afraid to leave home. __________________ |

Farm life requires us to interface with essential workers constantly. Know what you mean about no change. Less socializing BUT business as usual. I know those of us appreciate the essential workers in our industry

In terms of non-covid related isolation, loneliness is the greatest thing I personally have to cope with. If you can come to terms with it, mitigate it, then it doesn't feel quite so bad. But, for me, there's no escaping interacting with people in one form or another, on practically a daily basis even just walking down the street.

I don’t know, I’m an introvert by nature so not much different for me really. I miss get togethers with friends on the weekends and going on hikes with groups of people, but otherwise I’m introverted so no big deal.

Not much has changed for me. I didn't leave my house much prior to Covid and I still don't. It's been more convenient for me to see doctors. So that is good. And I've done PT from home. Otherwise, I would never have done it.

Essential worker too so very little changed in my working life which I am grateful for. I have a tendency to isolate too so going out to work stopped me doing that and I think it saved me!
I still feel a little nervous about being too close to my elderly parents even though they've had both their vaccinations. For so long it was "I go out to work I am potentially a higher virus risk to them I must stay back" for a couple of months I only contacted them by phone when things were higher risk here. So for me it's going to be feeling at ease again around my parents. There's been a lot of emotion when we've met in their garden recently. Tbh I am far more worried about the effect it's had on them, and my sister whose been working a stressful responsible job from home and told me her anxiety is a problem again after many years of doing well.. So in short, for myself I'm not too worried, but for others I am. I get my first vaccine tomorrow! |

That is a really good point, some of the virtual stuff that was developed has benefited many people who can't easily leave home. I hope those benefits will stay.

I would say touch starvation, and I mean, my symptoms have gotten worse. But it's not like anyone wanted to touch me before the pandemic, so this would have happened regardless.
