It seems like at this time of the year it is usually almost hot and you feel comfortable wearing shorts. This year, it seems like it was colder for later and you actually feel like you just have to wear a light jacket. It's not what I had in mind.

It's 75 in Houston, which is cooler than average for this time of year. It's usually above 80.

Yes, it was 48 yesterday morning & only got up to 54 as the highest. Today the sun is out but upper 50's, low 60's.
I accidentally left my heater on auto & when I got home from the barn last night I noticed my heater was on in the house & it was set on 63 because I keep it cool in my house during the winter. I did shut it off totally finally at that point __________________ Leo's favorite place was in the passenger seat of my truck. We went everywhere together like this. Global warming (which is driving climate change) is still happening, doesn’t mean everywhere is going to be hotter than usual all the time. Global weather patterns are complex! There’s another phenomena that’s temporarily pulling temperatures down, though I don’t remember the name of it now. The news article I heard it on at work didn’t have subtitles! We were meant to be heading into another ice age, but I’m guessing it would have happened slowly enough that we wouldn’t have been affected that badly. The transition between ice ages and warm periods can be hundreds or thousands of years long.

We're having global warming here, that's for sure. It will be an insane 108 degrees for Memorial Day - a temperature we'd normally have in late July or August. That hot and we had TWO days of moderate rain all winter. Our drought is severe, and wildfires will be almost inevitable.
But Roxanne Toto is correct. __________________ |
