Hey whats going on?

Hope yall are doing good. I was just curious if anybody knew of a forum or really anyway to try to meet other gamers my own age. Im 46 and up until this year i had a good long term group of friends i gamed with i knew them for about 14 years but we went our seperate ways. I really miss them but theres a guy they insist on hanging out with thats really rude obnoxious etc. When i left i even told them it had nothing to do with them. But they basically went no contact. So as bad as i miss them im trying to find a new group which seems like an impossible task in all honesty. It should NOT be this hard to find friends.

It really feels like since i hit forty its almost impossible to make new friends now a days. Not sure if its my age, or covid or what the deal is. Im just tired of being isolated and feeling lonely and not having any friends. Or even just somebody to talk to. Due to some of my mental illness it gets sort of stuck in my head and i haven't really played or watched much of anything in about 10 days now. I havent even been able to take the dogs walking because it keeps raining. Feel very distracted and having trouble concentrating.

Ive tried on reddit but that place is kind of a nightmare honestly as far as meeting quality nice friendly people and it seems to be all 20 somethings now and hardly anybody over 30 years old.

So if anybody here is a gamer, or if you know of a good place you can recommend to meet other older gamers like myself please let me know. It would mean a lot.

Im thinking of starting up a discord server for people to hangout on.

Thanks for your time and hope you're doing good.

I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to find a gaming forum (I don't know, gaming's not really my seen) but these days: their's sites for everything under the sun, and their are a lot of people I imagine who would want to talk about gaming

I just did a search for you, and came up with this:

PC Gamer Forums

but I don't know how good/ bad it is, like I say it's not my seen.

hope it is a start, anyway.

good luck

I like meetup. I used it to meet people when I moved to a new city. And they have lots of virtual meetups now.

If you do set up a discord server, i would be interested in joining. I'm a gamer and my age is 36.
