I’m guessing for Juneteenth. Last night they woke me up. I thought it was a tornado siren. Now they are starting again.

At my old house fire crackers went off all summer. It was really annoying when someone would post “what is that noise I’m hearing?”

I think fireworks are fun but I feel like they should only be used for special things like today.

Yes, I've been hearing them all week. I doubt that the firecrackers here are for Juneteenth, I'm pretty sure they're just jerks setting off illegal fireworks in preparation for the 4th of July. UGH. Worst holiday EVER...my cats get absolutely terrified. It's so dry from the drought out here, there is such a problem with fires; I can't understand the logic behind allowing fireworks on the 4th.

Our dogs are also terrified when the fireworks start going off. Not to mention veterans with PTSD. I don`t like fireworks either they make me really nervous .

Yeah, my husband is a Vietnam vet and always has a rough time on the 4th. That's one night of the year I wish I could skip.

I haven't heard any fireworks. I'm sure I will on the 4th even though I don't think we're supposed to set them off in the city limits.

Our neighbors set off a big hour long fireworks show last 4th of July. We had an amazing show and we didn’t even have to leave our driveway. I thought it was a nice break from all the Covid **** that was happening last year and I felt really happy for the first time in a few months. It was a nice break for me even though it was a bit of a sensory issue regarding the noise.

Yes, I am hearing fireworks here. Since weeks before Juneteenth. I do not know why. I feel for people's pets and those with ptsd. Usually here, they don't go off after 10pm, so at least they're respectful of the noise ordinance. I took a video of some of them, a few weeks ago and oohed and ah'd. They were pretty.

Yes, it's pretty much going on every single summer night here. It's frustrating

Someone was setting them off a few houses away from me. They aren't even legal where I live. My neighbors across the street had a huge show last year pointed right at my house. I really don't like it.

Last night up at the barn I heard the loud booming sound of arial fireworks. Didn't bother my horse but could see it was bothering the 4 others in the field

For the past 2 nights it sounded like bombs going off here. So aggravating, because I know the ones I've been hearing are illegal ones. The police don't take any action.

I hear some when I take our pooch out for her before-bed walk at night. By then it's dark out and the noises spook her (and me too!) As we approach the 4th I'll have to get her out before dark for her last walk of the day.

I heard a really loud one last night around 10 that woke me up. I thought it was a gunshot. I do hope there’s some decent ones tonight in my area.

I just heard something. I guess they are starting early where I am.

I’m used to hearing a few fireworks. Tonight it’s sounded like something from a movie. I was sleeping fine until a really loud one woke me up and scared the crap out of me.

Heard fireworks in my neighborhood all night last night for Independence day. Went to bed early but couldn’t really sleep till everybody was done with their celebration which ended around midnight 😐
