But yeah they had a lot of cool stuff like Michael Jackson’s glove and other cool stuff. I have a lot of pictures.
The one in Cleveland? It’s pretty cool isn’t it?

I once met someone who was born in the same hospital on the same day as me.

There is a presence in my house. It's benevolent so when I do sense it I am amused.
I named it Darryl. Don't ask me why that particular name and I don't know if it has any gender. It's not a ghost, has never been human and is a whole separate entity.
I don't know how to explain it any better. It's definitely weird but not at all frightening.

And no it's not extraterrestrial.

@Werewoman

Wow, that sounds interesting and even quite exciting. I've always been interested in paranormal type phenomena and it's good that there's no negative energy or malevolence there, as well.

Do you think you might be able to deepen the connection with the Darryl, somehow? Perhaps see if s/he would like to give you visible signs of a presence. You might be surprised at the results - in a good way obviously.

If I deepen my connection to him/her/them anymore, I'm gonna have to dig a hole.

Oh, Darryl makes their presence known. Sometimes it's just a glimpse of a shadow, though.

I just know when I hear noises now I no longer get out of my chair to investigate. Instead I just yell,"knock it off Darryl!!".

Yeah in Cleveland. It was cool. I didn’t know what to expect. I got a shirt that says “I sold my soul to the devil” then it had the museum name. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit anymore. But I still have it. The house from A Christmas Story is 10 minutes away from the museum so after the museum my mom and I went on a tour of the house and I got a sweatshirt from the gift shop. That still fits. They had bunny suits you could borrow for $10 and wear in the house so you could take pictures and stand at the top of the stairs the way Ralphie did in the movie.

Once, when I was lying in bed dropping off to sleep, I heard my deceased friends voice, quite loudly as if right by my bed, say 'Hey, bro.'. Of course when I sat bolt upright there was no one there. It was probably due to some sort of semi sleep state, but why his voice out of all the living voices it could have been - I don't know. It was so real and I felt a sadness upon seeing no one there.

I had that happen a number of times. Dead relatives would come visit me in my sleep. Sit on the edge of the bed. Sometimes they would talk. Often they wouldn’t. It hasn’t happened in a few years though.

When our dog died in 2015 I swear that entire night I felt him on my bed sleeping next to me to comfort me about my wisdom teeth surgery the next day.

I also had a friend die of cancer in 2010 and one night I had this dream where she was sitting on my bed and telling me she was ok and that heaven was nice. The creepy thing is I woke up because I felt my water bed moving. The only way it moved like that was when I’d get out of it.

I don’t know why I never went to that tour. I love Christmas story. I should go there, we only live 3 hours drive from Cleveland

Wow, that's quite interesting @Mountaindewed. It's interesting how your deceased relatives and your four legged family member, all do the same thing which is to go to where you're sleeping and sit on your bed. It's a very peaceful thing to do and seems to depart from the usual dream imagery of basically just random weirdness.

It's been said that the sleep state can be a path to other realities. Perhaps in this state the dead are no longer dead but very much alive as they continue their journey of the soul through the unseen conscious universe. 🤔

Something kind of related, but more on the ironic side I discovered when looking for a specific entry in an old diary (might be a bit heavy, so I’m putting it in a trigger. Not looking for sympathy as such, just sharing as it just seems really weird to me!) -
Possible trigger:
