Mine has gray walls and gray hardwood floors. I like the floors but I want to paint the room a calming blue. I have a TV mounted to the wall that I never use. I have a queen size bed with a king size blanket I use as a comforter, a 20 pound queen size weighted blanket, a 12 pound twin size blanket, and a kid size 8 pound weighted blanket which is still pretty big. I have my burrito blanket on top of everything. I have a gray chaise lounge I never sit in, shoved into one side of the room, and a book case filled with stuff on the side of the other wall and my night table next to my bed. Then I have my very small walk in closet with my dresser against the back wall and my shirts and hoodies hanging up. I have my good shoes on the bottom top shelf under the dresser and my duffel bag I use for traveling on the top shelf. On the bottom shelf of the the other side of the closet I have more shoes, and on the top shelf I have just random stuff from my childhood I don’t need but I don’t want to get rid of. On the floor under the lower shelf I have the rest of my shoes.

I like how neat everything is. I keep my room spotless.

What does your bedroom look like?

My bedroom is not too messy, but I never make the bed. I have a queen sized bed. The wall are white because I rent. The floor is dark laminate/fake wood. I prefer not having carpet because I have a cat and allergies. I don't have much furniture, just the bed, a night stand, and a dresser.

My bedroom is on the ground level of our house, because I hate stairs. The walls are a light grayish green with painted white strip at the top and white tall ceiling. At the end is a very large window with a view of the Moravian hills. We have a huge wardrobe closet that takes up the length of a side wall. The queen size bed, two dressers, and two mini side dressers are a light beech wood. Our floor has wall to wall carpeting in tan-brown. Curtains are sheer white lacy flowered design with heavier light-proof green curtains on top, which we pull back. We have artistic decorative items on furniture/window sill and paintings on some walls. Four lamps of different sizes and a standing wooden jewelry box. A live orchid is also on the window sill and dried flower arrangements are on one of the dressers and wardrobe, as well as two picnic baskets, one containing my dried wedding bouquet from over 23 years ago. We have pretty new bedding, with the quilt and pillow shams having flowers. We use our duvet covered down comforter all year long. Right now we have a portable airconditioning unit, but remove it in cooler months. Also have a straw trash basket and laundry hamper. Unfortunately, the road is close outside the window. A bus roars past frequently (almost 24/7), so that sometimes startles me when I am falling asleep. The room is fairly small. With so much stuff in it, it seems even smaller, but we have plenty of other storage upstairs. The bedroom opens to our living room. We keep it mostly tidy, with the bed made, though Hubby often leaves some clothes on the floor near his side of the bed. Or, he puts them on MY dresser. I throw them off.

Double bed, two wardrobes, chest of drawers, small chair and bedside unit. Yes, there is still room for me! Duvet turned back to keep bed cool. Some clothes lying around. Sometimes I'm tidy, others not. Started to clear out unwanted clothes again so there's a black bag too.

Carpet on floor. Wallpaper cream with greek key pattern highlighted in pale yellow and peach (did it myself). Just closed curtains to keep it cool. Can't leave windows wide open at night as ground floor.

Think it needs a revamp!

It's not my bedroom. I'm living in another's bedroom. My section 8 place, along with many others, got destroyed last year in Hurricane Laura.
But we are building me a bedroom, a little one room house with a bathroom.
So right now my future bedroom is just a concrete foundation. But we are buying wood today and getting started on that part soon.

My room is a mess, generally speaking (I like it that way). I don't have too many things on the walls except for a bulletin board where I post inspirational things and other things to remind myself of mental health goals, etc. I have a ton of books. There are books everywhere. I have a Jimi Hendrix poster but it's pretty small. I also have a plant (a bonsai tree) and then there's a guitar hanging on the wall.

Mine looks like an explosion at a dump, generally! The walls are purple, the carpet is purple, I have a big tv in the corner I don’t use any more, my desktop pc next to the bed (also rarely used now, as it’s so old and I got a second hand laptop recently that’s a bit more up to date), big wardrobes and a bookcase that’s pretty much stuffed full.

We just bought a new house. Our bedroom is upstairs. It’s pretty large. It’s carpeted, pretty big window. Queen size bed, two dressers and two night stands. Two matching lamps on night stands and one tall torchiere lamp but we have ceiling light fixture too. We have two walking closers but they are small. A little bench by the foot of the bed.

We just moved so we are still decorating, we are about to hang new curtains. We have blinds but they aren’t looking good plus it’s too bright in the room. Overall color scheme is olive green/beige. It’s really nice to be honest. We used to have much smaller bedroom.

As about tidiness. I cannot tolerate messiness so it’s never messy. The only area I am ok with being untidy is basement. It’s largely used for storage and laundry only so I am ok with some mess there. Not ok anywhere else. Certainly not in a bedroom

My bedroom is small with cream-colored walls and white accents. There's a bed, a wood dresser, and a large, tall book case full of books. I have some things on the walls...a bamboo shelf I've owned for 35 years (scarves and leg warmers are folded on it). I have 2 smallish hand-made dolls on the wall. There's a walk-in closet and the bathroom is right off my bedroom. The floor is fake wood, but it looks nice. There's a large window with a great big tree outside. A few soft cat beds are on the floor. There are always some cats in there. I keep it tidy.

My bedroom has beige walls, a full size bed, a side table with storage underneath and a drawer, a lamp on it, then across from my bed is a dresser. I have a double door closet, and my double window has light grey and white curtains.
My bed has a paisley comforter on it, and I have a few pictures hung up on the walls.

I’ll post pics, hold on.

We removed the wallpaper and now have naked walls. The carpet needs replacing. We moved out the furniture which sits in the living/dining room for now. We have a king bed and a TV. We are in transition to move.

We still love the 30 y/o bedroom set. It needs restoration or we can sell it and not move with it. I’d like to move with it, give it to a restorer, put it in storage when it’s done since it won’t fit where we are going for less than a year, then move somewhere else where it will. Whew! I’m exhausted!

I just looked online to see if anyone is selling our bedroom furniture. Say, we sell ours and then rebuy it when we can? There are a few items of it occasionally for sale in various parts of the country. They are asking prices less than what it will cost us to move, fix, and store ours. What to do?

My sister said I am only neurotic because I have options! Lol

Black light posters, blacklights at each wall, a peace sign over the door and the bedspread has the Orion Nebula on it.
