if you went to the olympics, how well do you think you would do?

what event do you think you'd be good at- and do you think their's a chance you might get a medal?

I think if I went to the olympics, I would have to take part in a throwing event- something like javelin. I wouldn't be able to do any running events (I'm seriously not fit enough to run!) just walk, very very slowly- and I can't swim.

but a throwing event... maybe,. I don't think I'd be good enough to get any medal, but I could throw pretty far I think

what about you

If I had started to learn how to skateboard as soon as I moved I’d be able to cruise a bit around. But not like in the olympics.

But there’s really no sport I’m good at. I tried running once after my surgery. While it felt great not to have that amount of weight anymore, I just haven’t tried again. My heart rate got too high and I felt like I was going to pass out. I tried cross country in Jr. High but I could never get the hang of the whole “pace yourself” thing and I’d get winded after half a mile.

I’d do good at the equestrian events (used to ride but haven’t for years) and maybe archery. I’d expect bronze, or silver. I’d be useless at swimming or gymnastics. I got third place at a high school sports day in javelin, so I reckon I’d get a bronze medal there, at least.

Well I can ride but it would have to be a bare backed event. I could probably do the synchronized swimming and place in that but I understand that’s no longer an event? Do they have speed reading? I’d get a good in that!

Something shooting-related. Maybe clay pigeon or skeet. I'd try archery too.

Only ever done on video game. Beat everyone!

I'm hopeless at anything athletic.

If it was something like trivia, I might do pretty well. I know most of the answers on Jeopardy.

They very well might have had speed reading if they’d kept it similar enough to the very first Olympic Games! Although I do believe people competed naked then, too

Ooo I’d be disqualified if I had to compete naked! I’d be the one covered in a toga.

I'm not an athletic person, unfortunately. Medication really contributes to my lack of stamina. That said, I would love to be a gymnast. I'm awed by their abilities on the bars and the floor routines.

They were naked and only men were allowed to compete. I think the point of the nudity was to prove you were a man...

I'm not athletic, at all. I would fail miserably in everything. I do take walks. With my dogs or on my own. Sometimes with a friend. I don't think they have an event for that. I also dance pretty well. Free form. I have a friend that took different lessons, including, salsa. She thinks I have good rhythm. Even so, I don't think it's enough to win any competitions. If it was, I'd audition for AGT (America's Got Talent).

I’m not athletic at all. I walk a ton (everywhere) since I don’t have a car, that’s about it. Running is absolutely out of the question, I hate running and feel like I’m dying when I do have to because I’m out of shape. I’m sure I could get better at it if I tried. I’m sure it starts to feel good after awhile. But I’m not there yet.

I can barely swim, so that’s out too.

If walking was an Olympic sport I’d probably do good at that since I do so much of it.

I detest running, too. I’d be disqualified for cheating because I’d pull out a skateboard! There is a race walking event, but I think you still need to be fit and have endurance. I walk a lot, too, but after watching race walking not sure I’d be cut out for it!
Women could compete, but only in chariot races and they had to hire male drivers - the owners were seen as the winners, though. So glad it’s not like that now. Incidentally, that was the only sport where men competed with clothes on, lol. First women to compete and win at the Games did so in 1900.

My horse & I would have to do some major training for the dressage events. Neither of us have ridden in a few years & never competed at the Olympic level anyway. Have always dreamed of doing a free style routine with my horse. Maybe some day

I’m good at swimming, but would need to get much faster. Like running, but would not care for sprinting in short distance races. Ice skating is out, but looks like it would be fun to know how to ice skate. Gymnastics is not for me, but the dancing gymnastics routine might be fun. Maybe the ideal event would be dancing events, good at studying and memorizing info events. Also enjoy archery and playing darts, and fairly good at it. Archery is maybe in the Olympics.

Well, certainly fail miserably at every sport. But when I was younger, I wasn't that bad at darts, but then again that's not an Olympic sport.

I was a pretty good ice skater as a kid, but my lessons stopped when my sister broke her leg having a lesson at the same rink.

I would do well as a spectator at the Olympics.

I would win the Gold if there was a sport called Ruminating.
