Still going….This was the point I relapsed back in 2016. Made it seven months before I figured I was so called “cured” and could handle drinking moderately. Guess I enjoyed it to much back then when bingeing on weekends became daily drinking ☹️

Don’t plan to see those days ever again. Onwards to further milestones and that major 1 YEAR mark.

One day at a time 😐

Congratulations. It's hard work, but worth it. Glad you're determined not to relapse again. Keep it up one day at a time.

I've been where you are. In my case it took several attempts before I was successful but it's been roughly 5 years and I don't crave alcohol at all. I go to bars occasionally with my girlfriends. I'm automatically the designated driver. Lol!
It holds no power over me anymore and that is one helluva great feeling.
Keep doing what you're doing. I assume you have a sponsor or some other support person. Listen to them. Your perception could be warped. Mine sure was for a while.

@Introvrtd1

How are you doing? Still sober I hope. The sugar crush should have subsided by now, I hope. Sobriety is hard. Death is even worse. That thought helped me get sober.

Sounds like you're doing good. It's normal to gain some weight because your metabolism gets confused I think. It took me about 4 months at the gym 3 times a week to get back my normal weight.

Yeah I’m down 40 pounds so far…Still getting there…Working towards that one year sober mark and more weight loss. Looking for at least another 30 pounds by December 🤞🏾

223 Days…Recovery has been really slow, but still moving forward. Still walking….10,000 steps a day minimum but I usually get in around 12-14,000. Mostly finish up after work.

Sleep still not perfect but I’ll get some good nights once in a while. Feel like I have to keep moving so the nervous energy doesn’t set in.

Things would be better once I get control of these sugar binges. Even with the low to no sugar foods I eat, I tend to overindulge. Sigh…. 😩

Better than drinking I guess 😞

Congrats @Introvrtd1 staying sober is no easy feat especially considering what the world is like now. on 12/12 I will have 9 years.

Been getting these weird insomnia nights where I wake up in the wee hours of the night the past couple days….

Also felt a bit anxious on my drives to work.

Ugh….Glad its been nothing like the days past when I felt like crap the morning after a heavy binger. ☹️

230 days
