Oh that’s great news! No pressure. I do hope you get your pto though. If you give your notice dec first then you start 2022 with a clean slate and may it be oodles better than the last two years!

What Nammu and Eskie said! You've done some processing, and it's good you've got more everyday concerns to keep you from being stuck on that one work issue. You've arrived at the right conclusions, I think.

But I am sorry about your good friend's hardship right now, and I hope she is getting better help and gets some answers soon.

You're juggling so much, emotionally. I hope you will take care of yourself, too.

We got results of a review the Dragon Lady did of our charesearch last month. I'm known in our office for having the best documentation. She raved about charts by people with poor documentation and picked mine to pieces. She's known for having people she targets. Methinks I have a target on my back.

I'm glad I crunched numbers last week. It helps to know if she gets too nasty I can tell her where to go and walk out the door.

MuseumGhost, I'm trying to take care of myself, but not sure how well it's going. I was struggling to not bust into tears today at work. It all just piled up at once.

My friend is not doing well cognitively. She's confused all the time. Her family hadn't noticed, but I've been see her slip for the last year.

Saturday I slipped on my front steps and slid down them on my butt. I'm not injured, but am sore as all get out!

To top things off the father of one of the kids I work with called to yell at me for daring to ask his kid questions! It was our standard intake assessment and the kid's mother was there while I talked to him. I so wanted to say "well be a responsible parent and send your kid to school! Then I won't need to talk to him!"

Ugh, what a day you had. December is looking good for a notice,….but maybe November is looking better?

She scheduled a virtual meeting with the team tomorrow. We'll see how that goes.

A positive outcome of all this bs is that retirement is definitely looking good! Before the idea of unstructured time was kind of scary. It sounds like heaven now.

What you said about her reminded me of my Advanced Placement English teacher in high school. I'm a really good writer, but he didn't like me and graded all my essays just mediocre while giving other people A's who I know aren't good writers. Luckily, he couldn't prevent me from acing the multiple choice tests and the Advanced Placement exam. I think he was upset that I had a much better grasp or literature than he did.

(((Liz))) you actually have important positives where you can move forward in your life. I think you are actually doing well in sorting out what you can do in order to self protect.

It looks unstructured compared to work....but in reality it is just a change of routine.....& soon your retired life will be structured within it's own routines. I just lost my horse to they think it was cancer (necropsy report will tell).....but feel totally lost because she has been sick for so long & caring for her was my structured life. So now working on new structure & new routines. Life changes, we adapt & it becomes our new normal....it is only the transition that takes a little while to adapt to

Thank you . It has been such a huge loss & hurt I really haven't been able to talk about it much.
