Lol! I opened the thread planning to ask how the search was going. Congrats on finding something even if it's temporary.

Glad you found this stop gap and can have an expanded time to search for a good place and you don’t have to just accept the first thing that comes along. Snow is always a headache in winter but maybe it will open up better opportunities? Take care.

Sweetie, if I had my own car, I'd be there in a heartbeat to help you. I have had to move so many times in my life, I've now vowed "never again". I really understand.

But the upside is, you'll be with someone who is caring--- and they are family---that is usually a very good thing. And it sounds like you have time to think about it all, and catch your breath. ALWAYS a very excellent thing, before a move.

It all sounds like it's going to be alright.

@splitimage - just wanted to check in to see how your new place is going, and if you found a more permanent place. Hope you are safe and doing well.

Thanks for asking. @SprinkL3 It's going ok. My landlord is a bit overbearing and likes telling me what I'm doing wrong, and the commute down to my job is a bear, but it's not bad as temporary accommodations. I've started my trauma program, and so want to be here until that is done at the beginning of March, and then I'll reevaluate.

I'm glad you're doing as good as you can be.

I'm sorry to hear about your overbearing landlord.

I'm excited for you about starting your trauma program! Yay!

Hopefully things will brighten up in 2022, at least by Summertime!

I'm considering a move in Summer 2022. I'm not sure yet though. I have to weigh the pros and cons and figure out the financial situation as well. There are so many contingency plans in the mix for me, but I tend to be more stable than adventurous these days.

Anyway, I hope everything works out for you! I can't wait to hear about your plans come March 2022 and beyond!
