Sitting here at the kitchen table with my laptop. Reading the forums and making phone calls.
The landlord has someone here to work on the chimney. They are going up on the scaffolding and onto the roof. The sounds of banging and things falling just about scared me half to death!!! My stomach is in a knot now and my head is reeling...phewwwww this is going to be a long day

((((((( sabby )))))))  Oh, that doesn't sound like much fun at all. Have you got any headphones you could use with some soothing music to drown out the noise? Or maybe go out for a walk or do something nice for yourself to take your mind off it.

OMG, thats so weird. On Monday I woke up to the sounds of men shouting, doors banging, and smashing glass. I had two panic attacks. The men were fixing up another apartment or something. I'm still on edge. It really messed me up. Damn anxiety. :-(

You've probably already left for your appt, but I hope you think to buy you some earplugs if the music only serves to increase the desibles.

Thanks everyone!!!
I figured out why it sounded like everything was coming down around us..... The guys took down the bricks from the old chimney to replace with new ones. They had 3 big plastic buckets on the roof that they were throwing the old bricks into from where they stood by the chimney. It was a horrible sound!!! Thank goodness today they moved to the other side of the house and the 2nd chimney...LOL. I'm glad that part of it is OVER! LOL to you all!sabby |
