Whenever it comes on the radio. So probably soon. I would prefer to wait until after Thanksgiving though.
Thanks for this!

Deliberately? As opposed to songs played in stores? December 24 (Christmas Eve).

Christmas Eve is also a much bigger deal in the country I live in now than actual Christmas day.

Sirius doesn’t start playing until the 5th. Wtf. They always used to start on the 1st. I did listen to Do They Know It’s Christmas Time At All? On my phone this morning since they never seem to play that one anymore on any station.

People in the states often complain that they start it too early. Then don’t listen to it you dumbass. No ones forcing you to. And this is on the radio not in stores.

Usually towards the end of November, though as much as I love Christmas I hold off celebrating until as close to December as I can. Once Christmas Day itself is over I kind of get antsy wanting things to go back to normal lol.

I don’t listen to Christmas music. And I hate that everyone starts playing before thanksgiving. Totally ruined the idea that Christmas is special. As for not listening it’s hard since it is played everywhere

I listen to it usually when November begins, but I also sometimes listen to it outside of the Christmas season because it just makes me feel good and puts me in a good mood

I am not forced to listen to Christmas music much, since I do most of my shopping (including groceries) online. I guess doctors offices are the only places I'll have to hear it.

I don't have a specific time when I start listening to it. For me, each year is different. Some years, I avoid it the whole season. This year I actually listened to some in August. There are some good jazz Christmas mixes on Spotify that I like. I'll listen to it on and off this year.

I'm already listing to it because stores are already playing it. Some local radio stations are playing it too. Can't escape it in the stores, but I change stations as soon as I hear it.

Was shopping at Wally World Saturday. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff displayed next to each other while Christmas music played. I wanted to run out of the store, but there is no escaping it.

I worked in a shop during the holiday season back in oh 2005 maybe? And the speaker playing the music was right over my head, so it was in both ears. You can have too much of a good thing.

I enjoy Christmas music, but only the older songs or choirs. I'll start listening...hmm...probably next week.

I prefer to wait until after the US Thanksgiving, or the day I put up the tree (usually the first weekend in December). I like to keep it to a minimum before that, as I agree 100% with Nammu! I like it to feel like a really special and unique time of year.

It's hard to drown it out/ ignore it if it's blaring from some store overhead speakers---and yes, some places have already begun to play Christmas holiday music. But I carry earplugs with me when I go out, anyway---because social anxiety can make ALL canned music hard to take, especially if it's loud.
