We had to close the original thread for technical reasons. Previous replies are here: When do you start listening to Christmas music?

I don't stop.
I have one big playlist, and christmas music is part of that I don't take them out and put them back in, I just let it play |

Not until December, hate stores and other places that play it before thanksgiving. Don’t watch Christmas movies until after thanksgiving too.

3 days of listening and so far no Mariah. Although I think I may have heard the Kelly Clarkson version today.

I’m listening to Sirius radio channel 105. It was funny because from what I was reading online in the car it said Christmas music was 104 so I turned to that channel it and it was Fox News. My mom was joking that it was a conspiracy theory. Then I turned to 105 and got Christmas. 105 is modern I forget what channel classic is. 70 something maybe.

I’ve noticed they have been playing the original “Baby It’s Cold Outside” a lot and not mumbling over the part “say what’s in this drink?”
I guess everything is up for grabs again now that Cosby has been released. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

If you asked When Do You Start Watching Christmas Movies, I can pretty much watch Christmas movies year round. Listening to Christmas music before Thanksgiving just feels almost nauseating, I don’t know why.

I'll be listening to Christmas music any day now. I enjoy the more traditional songs.

I just started listening to Christmas music right now. LITERALLY. This is the second song to play on the Christmas music radio station. LOL. The next thing to do is to start shopping. Yikes!

I gave in and turned it on today for background music.

The end of November at the earliest, if it’s music I choose to put on myself, but the radio stations made a tentative start earlier in the month.

Right after Thanksgiving usually. The Nutcracker theme and Wham’s Last Christmas are ring tones that I turn on at that time. Yeah, silly I know.

Personally, I LOVE Christmas music and would listen year round if I could. I like listening when I wrap Christmas presents and put up the Xmas tree. That reminds me to work on my Christmas playlist. Lol!

Bah-humbug, I would rather not have to ever hear Christmas music. How ever as a kid, it was always after the first sticking snow in December and never before Thanksgiving, same with putting up a tree and decorations always came down on New Year's day. I remember one year taking down the tree after midnight on New Year. Obviously to casual observers I don't care for holidays, too much trauma associated with them and I am not allowed to have my daughter for them, so why bother.

Started already, because can't be bothered to get up and turn to different channel. Already had enough of Wham's Last Christmas, lol!
Today, having endured neighbours' loud music earlier, am now having my own choice. In other words, if I'm forced to listen on a Sunday morning, it's going to be my choice. So far, Katie Melua's Winter CD, Il Divo (an assortment, including O Holy Night) then Classic FM Opera favs. All should be played loud.... |
