I'm really excited.
As some of you may know, I sit on a patient advisory committee at my psych hospital. This gives me the opportunity to be involved in representing patients on different initiatives throughout the hospital. Today I was appointed to a new one. They're developing on on-line course on best treatment practices for treating people with concurrent (comorbid addiction and mental health issues) disorders aimed at primary care providers. I'm really excited about this because concurrent disorders is kind of a pet issue of mine. Can't wait to get started in January. splitimage
