People slamming doors.....whether it's from a car, apartment, etc. Alarming, annoying and unnecessary. Just CLOSE the freaking door already!

When people bang on my door. I have PTSD and loud noises trigger me. My father does this and it always makes my heart start pounding a lot.

No PTSD but I startle easily as mentioned below. The doorbell is even louder and more alarming than the knocking, since it "echoes" around the foyer area. Stupid design.

Makes me think: if the clocks are wrong then - are we measuring time accurately? What is time? Haha.

Power outages with no warning. Sometimes the lights flicker to warn you it might go out. It's just seconds but it's something. We just had one but thankfully it came back in less than a minute. I was cooking at the time!

Also when the cable or reboots. It never warns me; it just reboots or crashes usually in the middle of something I'm watching. I wish it would do it overnight more often, if it's necessary.

Why getting major surgery done that is considered cosmetic to most people is easier then getting your legal name changed.

Shows how shallow our culture is, in my opinion.

I have a huge pet peeve of people crossing their arms , especially in the workplace where a coworker or customer crosses their arms. To me it's exceptionally rude and in no way could possibly be a positive body language. To me, it is the most negative body language even more powerful than the middle finger.

I try very hard never to cross my arms or shove my hands in my pocket especially at work. To me they are very poor body languages.

I also find certain voices to be nails on a chalkboard, particularly the grating nasally "couldn't possibly be more bored in life yet have to make negative criticism on everything they see." I can't possibly describe what this sound is like, but it's awful.

When I lived farther north, I crossed my arms a lot because I was cold and trying to preserve warmth. Where I live now, I don't have to do that.

Yes, that is the exception to the rule...I do recognize that people do that when they're cold, but to do it otherwise is poor body language.

Something I do that irritates other people is slouching which is my own personal bad body language....but I have scoliosis and a bad back so it can be painful to sit up straight.

I think one of Sir’s peeves is all the animals outside hoping away! But I think he’d be scared if the glass that separates him were to suddenly vanish!
