I didn't know whether to put this on video game thread or start a new one....as it's not about a specific game.
But I wondered how can I get save files from my old device onto the new one so I don't have to start from the beginning again on all the games?? ..some I don't mind starting again ...but like Animal Crossing I have a memorial island and my character is named after my mum so I can 'visit her' virtually! ...also got some 'memorial builds' in Minecraft that months of building have gone into! (that's quite a large file) as I was gonna trade the old device in with some games to raise money for a BOTW2 special edition when it comes out (as they usually cost more than just the standard physical copy). Yeah I checked it seems a nightmare particularly for Animal Crossing. I decided to start a new island. I'll keep the old one for now...I can 'visit' the new island and take furniture and stuff over to speed things up a bit!!! Once I get new Island past the point the other one was at (hadn't really done that much to it other than my house and the first shops/museum) I'll just delete the save data on that one so I can sell it. |
