I thought I'd start a new thread that discusses yummy coffees, teas, creamers, and related beverage recipes here.
One of my newest favorites is Cafe Bustelo Dulce de Leche Instant Medium Dark Roast Coffee Sticks - 5ct. I have chronic fatigue syndrome/myalgic encephalomyelitis, so I don't always have the energy to cook and clean. This new instant coffee blend with Dulce de Leche is absolutely amazing! I put too much water in there, but the taste is still really awesome! I forget that certain coffee mugs are larger than 8 ounces. Do you have any favorite coffee brands, tea brands, creamers, coffee recipes, and/or tea recipes? |

A “craft” shop in town now sells mostly imported snacks, and they sometimes have discounted Coffee Mate flavoured creamers. I’ve had Irish Cream and sugar free French Vanilla.
If I want to be super indulgent, I have hot chocolate with cream, 3 sugars, whipped cream (we have the aerosol version but it’s ok) on top, and mini marshmallows if I have any. Hot chocolate is also great with a shot of cherry flavoured syrup- tastes like Black Forest cake! |

I have a knock off k-cup coffee maker (Hamilton Beach) I like it cause it keeps me honest drinking only one cup of coffee a day.
I 7 different k-cup blends of coffee but I think my favorite is the caramel truffle. Others are just coffee kinds. I put 3 spoons of turbinado sugar in my cup, sprinkle about 1/8 tsp of ground cinnamon, then I put in either 2 scoops of hot cocoa mix, or 2 scoops of french vanilla cappuccino mix or 2 scoops or pumpkin spice cappuccino mix to add flavor. Then I brew the coffee into the mug. After that is done, I stir up all that didn't get dissolved & put in either half & half, heavy cream or whole milk depending what I have in the refrig. Love to top it with whip cream if I have it on hand. Once in awhile at night I will make a cup of coffee with just the sugar....then I will add a little raspberry liquore & relax in front of the fireplace on a cold night. Irish whiskey is good to add too or Bailey's. The raspberry tastes good in hot cocoa too if not in the mood for coffee. My favorite tea is Bengal Spice. __________________ Leo's favorite place was in the passenger seat of my truck. We went everywhere together like this. I have the old-fashioned and cheap Mr. Coffee drip machine, so I'd have to adjust, but the recipes you described sound delicious! |

I worked in a wonderful, funky old coffee house for 15 years, so I have a lot of experience with espresso, coffee, tea and all sorts of drinks. I used to work the espresso machine - made beautiful lattes, cappuccinos, etc. I miss working there.
This winter I've been drinking a lot of hot chocolate (Ghiradelli). Sometimes I put a peppermint tea bag into the hot chocolate, gently stir it around...wonderful peppermint hot chocolate. I love espresso and can't stand chain-stores espresso. It's garbage. Only indie coffee houses/cafes have real espresso. Some years ago I was in Paris and was surprised that their espresso was no better than the espresso I made at work. One of the most "useful" drinks that I came up with was a mug of hot herbal tea with 2 cough drops melted into it. Great if you have a sore throat or cough! Some mornings I make weak mochas for myself (brewed coffee, chocolate, milk). I wish I could afford a home espresso machine! __________________ |

My favorite tea is chai spice which tastes like the tea we get in India.
For coffee, I can only drink it black if it's cold brew (not as strong). Hot, I have French vanilla or pumpkin spice. |

The chai spice with a lot of milk and sugar is pretty much the same as I get in India. Although in the US, I drink it black.

My favorite coffee treat.. My great grandmother's old metal stove top percolator slowly boiled over a medium gas flame. I havent had a french press or espresso top it yet. You need patience. Once it boils and you return to simmer it takes 10-15 minutes depending on taste. Add to that real half and half or light cream. I do not skimp when it comes to cream. I use full fat half and half or light cream. I have no concerns about weight or health with it because its not like I am drinking half a gallon each day. Treat yourself and tell the FF half and half's to take a hike.

We use French press. I have keurig for emergencies too lol when I have no time. I don’t like my teas or coffees sweet so no sugar added. Sometimes I put almond milk into my coffee or drink black.
I love teas. I have too many teas to remember which one I like the most. I travel to UK quite a bit and have family visiting from there and I think I like their tea varieties the best. Last night I had rose and violet tea from there. I’d say it’s very good and a tin is cute . |

I call it "Blue tea". It's sleepytime tea that smells heavenly and puts me right to sleep. I've had this tea all my life and it's my top favorite.

I mostly want plain coffee, black with nothing in it. I love the taste of coffee all by itself. Personally I prefer Folgers, including their instant. I also enjoy all the Celestial Seasons teas. All of them are really good. And I love the artwork on their boxes.
