I went to Goodwill yesterday to shop for new clothes, and since the last time I went in September, I went from a pant size 18 to a size 14 AND last time I bought shirts I was an XL bordering on XXL, now I am a size medium!!!!

I feel fantastic!!!! I am so happy with the weight loss! WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Wow, that's really impressive! I'm about a 14 pant size now. Trying to get back into my size 12 jeans.

It is a great feeling isn't it? I Lost 50 lbs this year and I love it when I pull something out of my closet that I don't think is going to fit...and it does!

Isn't that a great feeling. I've also been losing weight and have gone from a 22 to an 18 being loose so I need to go shopping for some new clothes too.

Congratulations on your weight loss.

I cut back a lot on sugar, but I haven't given it up entirely.

My only sugar is through fruit. My Papa is a pre-diabetic, and for several years now I have only on very rare occasions consumed processed sugar. Yes, I'll indulge, like even tonight I had an ice cream bar (speak of the devil), or occasionally I'll treat myself to a sugary coffee, but 99% of the time my only sugar comes through fruit. I even refuse sugary cocktails. I am a big time margarita lover, but I only drink Baja Bob's mix which has no sugar but is the most authentic tasting margarita mix you can get at the store. It's like drinking a real authentic margarita minus the sugar and calories. Other than that I'll have a brandy and zero sugar soda mix or wine or beer that has no sugar.

I've also drastically reduced my alcohol intake. I used to have a serious alcohol problem but now I limit myself to two glasses of wine. Sometimes I have a little more or a little less...And I've cut back so much that I can't tolerate hard alcohol any longer. And for a few months now I haven't had any weed, which when I smoke I get hardcore munchies, so that's cut out excessive eating by non smoking.

Today I went to Walmart and stocked up on some essentials. I can get so distracted in there, and I was bouncing around from aisle to aisle when I saw vitamins, and decided no that's too expensive, so I turned around and saw all the protein bars, and they had Slim Fast.

Long story short...(too late)...When I was in high school I drank a Slim Fast every morning not to lose weight (I was about 100-110 pounds) but because I would get very sick in the morning and Slim Fast was the only thing I could drink in the morning without getting sick (this was before Ensure became a household name)...So anyway, fast forward to today I still have issues with breakfast food. I don't throw up anymore but it's that memory I have where I just don't like to eat breakfast, but now my body has changed and I absolutely need something, so I bought four cases of Slim Fast shakes and that's what I'm going to have in the morning. The bottle says it'll curb up to four hours of hunger and yes, I know it'll help me lose weight so for me it's a double bonus!

I don't know what size I was before in mens but probably way into the 40's but now I am a 32-34. I like stores like Old Navy and Hollister that have in between sizes like 33. That size works the best but its not easy to find. Especially since I'm not very tall so I need a 33/30.

Do you find men's sizes easier @Mountaindewed?

Women's can be confusing, because they aren't standardized. A 6 at one store could be a 10 at another store.

Yeah they are pretty much the same. A 33 is pretty much the same everywhere. The only brand I find that is diffrent is Levis. They run smaller.

Yeah I know what you mean about womens sizes. I was like a 6 and an 8 before but sometimes a 10 would fit as well. It was so frustrating and I could never order jeans online the way I can now.
