Sorry if this is a stupid thread. These pain pills make me feel super high

In my freezer I have breaded cauliflower bites. Sour cream and onion mashed cauliflower. Grilled egg plant. Other frozen vegetable pastas, vegetable fries, and vegetable rice. 3.5 pints of Halo Top ice cream. A pint of Ben and Jerry’s. A quart of scooperman ice cream, a vegetable lasagna, a frozen potato bake, 2 frozen cauliflower crust pizzas. A cheese and garlic Red Baron French bread pizza. And 3 bags of Thomas bagels

My fridge is mostly full with just soda, cranberry juice, iced coffee, and Body Armor water. But I also have some string cheese, red jello, unicorn pudding, yogurt, and 2 different kinds of sausages, chicken apple, and cheddar, all in one of the drawers and 3 kinds of Philadelphia cream cheese on one of the shelf’s on the door.

I like threads like these

Right now in my fridge there is salad, celery, hummus, milk, almond milk, pepperjack cheese sticks, plain fat-free Greek Yogurt, two blocks of cream cheese, eggs, hard boiled eggs, pumpkin spice coffee creamer, Ensure nutrition shakes, cold water in a pitcher, sugar free vanilla pudding cups, unsweetened applesauce, butter

In my freezer I have 2 really large bags of frozen berries, several frozen bananas, frozen spinach (all of this is for smoothies), some buffalo caluliflower, butternut squash, carrots, an 8 pack of turkey burger patties, a loaf of wheat bread (sometimes I freeze bread if I'm not ready to use it immediately) and I think that's about it

Ours is full at the moment . Our fridge is kind of small. Narrow. So it’s easily fill up. Not really liking it. It’s new and it’s came with the house we bought this summer. The way our kitchen is that’s the only fridge we can have. Narrow. But there’s only two of us. So we manage. We think of having one in the basement. When we have house guests or a party, there’s no place for food whatsoever

In the big freezer in the garage we have a quarter cow we just got yesterday. A lot of sirloin, New York strip, and ribeye steaks. A lot of Chuck roasts. A few filets. Stew bones. Spare ribs. And about 10 things of ground beef.

It was a lot of meat and over $500 but my mom says it’s less expensive this way.

Shoot, I also looked and discovered that I have plant-based meatballs (for when I make pasta next) in the freezer, and a possible salvageable half-jar of Prego in the fridge (not sure if it's still good before the expiration date if it has been opened about a month or so ago), as well as some pesto in the fridge (not sure yet what this goes on, but sometimes I put it on my Texas Toast garlic bread when I'm eating pasta). I try to use things up before they expire. It's not easy living alone. I don't like wasting food.
Thanks for this!

It is hard living alone. I live on my own as well and it’s definitely a challenge to cook for one person and to not waste leftovers. I don’t like wasting food either.

I love Texas toast. My grocery store has their own brand and it’s a 5 cheese frozen Texas toast. It’s soooo good.

Wow - 5 cheese! That sounds really good!

I swear that singles need a bigger freezer and a smaller fridge. Then the proportions would be right. LOL. I have to freeze half a loaf of bread for it to last. I always put the other half of bread in the fridge, to make it last longer. The freezer is my friend.

Indeed, it's hard living alone.

I'm glad I'm not alone in the struggle living alone. Thank you!

My list would be way too long. I am a very enthusiastic home cook. I have all of the staples, many vegetables and fruit, deli items, and more, and many things in my freezer including frozen leftovers, parts of family pack proteins, breads, and frozen staples.

As for foods planned for today's and tomorrow's mains, I have a tuna steak and duck breast.

Fridge:
Yogurt, peanut butter, coconut creamer, oat milk creamer, cheese slices, eggs, bbq sauce, salsa, ketchup, lite mayo, Marion Blackberry preserves, flour, I can’t believe it’s not butter, peanut m and ms, pickles
Freezer: leftovers, frozen sweet potato fries, frozen vegetables, frozen bread
Once open food often refrigerate it even if it may not seem to need it to help prevent contamination and spoilage. Once in the summer when lived in limited a/c in Europe there were little worms in the peanut butter so ever since, yes several foods get put in the fridge now.

I have most of the same stuff in the freezer. I’m low on vegetables. but my soda collection is getting smaller since this soda shortage is getting so bad. I feel it’s worse now then it was in 2020. It’s hard to find anything but regular and regular zero sugar. I think part of it is rebranding since both Coke Zero and Mountain Dew are in the process of rebranding a bunch of flavors. But I wish I had stocked up when I was out of state. They had so much they even had multiple cases of orange Vanilla Coke. Which I never see anymore.

My freezer is clearing out since eating up leftovers to include frozen chili, chicken pot pie, and freeze ground turkey patties for burgers. Today went shopping and restocked the fridge with yogurt, vanilla almond milk coffee creamer, eggs, and ground turkey that I will use to make in pasta sauce with whole wheat pasta. Want to organize the canned goods in the pantry and always try to put cans of soup on the same shelf, black beans, cans of veggies, etc.

I just bought 2 quarts of ice cream today. Not sure that was a good idea. I'm going to ration them carefully though and not eat it all at once.

Ice cream is always so good and love ice cream cones. Since it’s the holidays I’m now craving peppermint ice cream, and chocolate chip mint ice cream is one of my favorite flavors after rocky road ice cream, and my top favorite is coffee ice cream with chocolate and walnuts.

I went on a rage the other day and threw away most of my soda. Pretty much all the shelf’s and drawers were full of it. I didn’t even offer it to anyone else in my house because I knew that would be such a headache to deal with. It would take forever for them to look at it and to see what they wanted and what they didn’t and I didn’t feel like dealing with that and as I said I was in a complete rage so I just put them all in plastic bags and threw them out. I probably shouldn’t have lifted that much weight to be honest. My mom said the garbage was very heavy when she took it to the curb.

Now I just have one can of birthday cake Mountain Dew, one can of flamin hot Mountain Dew, a can of chocolate Dr. Pepper, a glass bottle of lemon Crush, and a 20oz bottle of gingerbread Mountain Dew. Now besides those few I only have bottles of Gatorade and Body Armor, protein shakes, pudding, yogurt, and jello. In the freezer is a couple bags of vegetables, a few pints of ice cream a quart of ice cream, 2 frozen lasagnas, and some old bagels I should probably throw out.
