I just took my last melatonin so I'm about to sleep through my hunger. My stomach isn't empty empty but Lunchables aren't meant for adults let alone for an adult to have one for dinner in the middle of the afternoon.

I feel like I have an ulcer. Now I'm in so much pain advil and the heating pad arent working and I almost feel like going to the ER.

I've only eaten 2 small packages of nuts and a little bit of ice cream in over 24 hours. What do you do if you just can't eat anything?

I've only had 3 single serve packs of nuts and a bit of ice cream to eat today. I'm going to eat a can of soup in a bit and hope my stomach stays as calm as it currently is.

Just make sure you stay hydrated. It wont kill you to miss a meal, generally speaking. Its good to listen to your body, listen to your hunger. If it goes on for a long time that anything and everything makes you sick, then maybe there is something wrong. But nuts and ice cream? Those are both hard on the digestion to begin with.

Maybe look at a diet for post-gastric bypass surgery, first week. That would be things very easy on the stomach.

I could probably use some steak. I'm pretty nauseated. I ate an entire tuppperwear container of cellery and then I started on a big tupperwear container of 3 medium cut up zucchni but now I probably just need protein. I had half a cookie and a muffin for breakfast. So I do seem to be more balanced then yesterday.

Basically right now my stomach feels like I overdid it with all the vegetables. My mom says it serves me right.

My new diet, adjusted for starting insulin a couple of weeks ago, appears to be working. After my weight went up a couple of lbs at first, it is now on the way back down again. Yay! I.e., lost the gain and another good half pound.

Im basically doing two regular meals plus a mini meal.

Breakfast is coffee, a can of fish (tuna or salmon), and 1 or 2 toasted plain crumpets, depending on how hungry i am, which depends on the previous day.

Main meal is rice or beans or lentils, probably veg, maybe a low carb tortilla (if no rice).

Mini meal is fruit or veg, or a nutrisystem shake, or a can of chicken with hummus on a tortilla, again depending on how hungry i am.

Im ready for my main meal for today. I did my exercycle for a good while this afternoon. I can already tell an improvement in my aerobic capacity. I mean i still get winded going to take out the garbage, but its a better winded, not an "im dying" winded!

I think if I avoid nuts especially almonds I'll be ok. I was ok most of the day yesterday.

This morning my fasting blood sugar was under 200! thats like for the first time in over a year. I also exercised pretty hard today. Its just one of those little pedal-pushers, but it works for me.

Fasting (blood glucose) in the 150's. Thats what having ONE, NORMAL serving of cookies does. Also tons of meds - 2k of metformin, 20 units of insulin. But i was able to be satisfied with that one serving of cookies. I had noticed the day before, when i had more than one serving, that the pleasure and taste diminished exponentially with every serving. I was a LITTLE hungry last night, but not so much that i couldnt sleep. I had a big chop suey dinner!

This morning, not that hungry. Rice and kimchee for breakfast. And coffee. This is the first time in my life that weight loss and health seem possible and not a frantic process.

I came home from a parade a bit overwhelemed but I'm not one to eat my feelings so I just heated up a bowl of broccoli. Then a couple minutes ago I felt like I was dying and I like I needed carbs so I ate the hot dogs out of a hot dog Lunchable. Now I feel like I can make it to dinner.
