Lol....I didn't get the opportunity to be creative since one of the programs I wrote was used to fly by wire military jets

We as programmers/engineers usually make it difficult to press the wrong buttons....that is all part of the engineering design process. That is also why they program into your computer the question...."do you really want to do this?" (Like when you delete something.

Also, computers, computer systems go through thorough testing with people who are skilled at BREAKING a system so the engineers usually get a chance to fix the bugs before it goes out into the world of users, public or military. There is a whole procedure for documenting errors & fixes...not like the hack jobs we do in our own homes

I was just thinking, aren't we programmed by our DNA & other humans who have been telling us stuff since we were babies?

Yes, but we can think on our own & determine that what they tried to program us with is a bunch of BS & do what we want to do....computers can't do that....as for DNA, some aspects of that can be overriden by desire & drive. We are not stuck being what our relatives were

This forum I am sure has quality virus checkers & would catch one if it tried to infiltrate the software that runs this form. Check with a moderator/admin if it makes you feel better

I have never programmed using internet but programmed military data links. Establishing communications between 2 computers requires acknowledgments from both sides to get it started....this tls Handshake actually sets up an encrypted communication which makes it safe for both computers (or computer & phone or tablet) to communicate. This article gives a little information about it

I think it's so nice that we have computers. I don't have one yet. I do plan on getting one when I know which one to get. Meanwhile the computer wizards here & my cell phone are letting me do stuff anyway.

I use my phone most of the time for almost everything I do cause it is small & can go everywhere with me. Only time I actually use my computer is accessing things I need to print because I have an older printer even though wifi capable there are no apps for the phone that work with it. My computers died a few years ago & had to figure out a phone app that would allow me to sign legal documents. Amazing how technology has advanced since I started in computers in the late 70's
