In other states. my mom thinks it's crazy but I know housing takes a year or two and my mom may be gone by than been getting messages that her time is near.

I got messages like that before my dad died. Anyway we've resolved our issues for the most part we are at peace. it'll just be hard being here without her but at the same time I've been advised to cut her out of my life. But I decided not to.

I'm just going to wait and see what comes up and see where I'm at during that time. I just want options.

Do you mean government subsidized housing (Section 8)? I hear it can take several years, so probably good that you are applying now.

Why would she be gone? She is in her 70s and isn’t terminal? She could live a long time. Who said your mom is dying, her doctor?

No one said so but her. A therapist said so she's quite a negative Nellie in my life but she's getting used to my big dreamlike ways. A bit less critical, she said life is about working through relationships not cutting them out. Any way I cut out men but not mom she's been there for me in my dark days.

I actually did cut out my mom, because she is not good for my mental health. But everyone's situation is different.

I mean some people cut parents out but I don’t see why you should just because you think she’s dying?. As about getting messages that she’ll die soon that’s baloney. No such thing. Why are you going to other states? I worry that these are yet another scans like your modeling and acting agency memberships. Just focus on what’s real

The therapist who said cut her out was doing so because of her treatment towards me. I fired the therapist because I'm not cutting her out. But she has many issues, I just learn to deal with them.

My therapist said that it’s ok to limit contact with people who make life difficult, including family . That’s what I’ve been doing

Agreed. My parents are not happy right now that I am finding actual supportive people instead of relying on them. But I need to do what's best for my mental health.
