If we're talking hospital times, during my not eating days they said I could go outside if I drank an Ensure so one of the counselors gave me their coat and the drink. I went outside and went to throw the ensure, and got it all over the counselor's coat. She was PISSED

Suitcases broken while going out the hotel. A taxi took us to a shop to buy new cases and we had to put all the stuff into the new suitcases in front of everyone in the shop. My dirty panties included. 🙄

There was a time when my period was so heavy that I had blood on my pants and many people saw it during High School. Many people were laughing about it and never let that go. Here I would think many people would understand, but it turned into a laughing manner. I went the whole year feeling embarrassed and crying a lot for the rest of the School year.

I'll mention one that was on my sister's wedding day, though there have been far worse. This one I'm willing to laugh about.
I was maybe 12 years old, and one of my sister's bride's maids. The dress they bought for me was a bit too big in the upstairs department, so to speak. It looked bad because of it. So, my sister gave me one of her bras and suggested I stuff it with Kleenex. So I did. At the reception, I wanted to dance. One of my dad's friends asked me to dance with him. I was jumping around enthusiastically, when I noticed a horrified look on his face. He didn't actually say anything about it, but I then noticed that the tissue was gradually riding up and out of the dress. Soon after, he declared that he was tired and wanted to sit back down again, but he clearly did so because he was also very embarrassed. __________________ Dx: Bipolar type 1 Psych Medications: * Tegretol XR (carbamazepine ER) 800 mg * Lamictal (lamotrigine) 150 mg * Seroquel XR (quetiapine ER) 600 mg I also take meds for blood pressure, cholesterol, and tachycardia. |

Can you make yourself an idea of how many people mocking themselves in a weeding?
The guy who was dancing with you wasn’t smart at all at that moment. I celebrate that you laugh now at this. 💖 __________________ Social Anxiety and Depression. Cluster C traits. I admit that I don’t care about embarrassing moments anymore. I simply laugh at them.
But, there was a time anything, any moment I could be in the spotlight was a hell for me due to my social phobia. Only knowing about my social phobia, you will be able to understand how embarrassing the moment Imm gonna describe was. One of my childhood friends. She was crazy about live concerts. And about heavy metal music style. I accompanied her to one concert by a band I didn’t know anything about. They played a song known by everyone but unknown by me. Well, the singer didn’t have a better idea that approaching his microphone to me to sing with him. I tried to make some noises and prayed for him to go somewhere else. __________________ Social Anxiety and Depression. Cluster C traits. Trying to improve my English. Static cling caused my thong to stick to the harm of my sweater and then fell on the floor while I was in a line at a Wawa. The thing is I try and find humor anyway and had no idea what to do so I said "how did you get here"

I used to smoke cigarettes on the front porch step, one every 15-30 minutes. I would just sit down on the cement step and smoke all day long. It was embarrassing because I always think the neighbors thought I was no good or high as f*** or being rotten. I would sometimes speak out there right on the step....and I must have done this every day for 8 years.

Everyone has embarrassing moments. These are the moments when you wish the earth would open up and swallow you whole. I have had my share of embarrassing moments, but there are two that stand out in my mind. The first happened when I was in fifth grade. I was extremely shy, and I had a terrible crush on a boy in my class. One day, he came up to me and asked for help with his homework. I was so nervous that I started to sweat profusely. The boy must have thought I was disgusting because he never spoke to me again. The second time was just last year. I was at a party with some friends, and I decided to show off my impressive dance moves. Unfortunately, I tripped on my own feet and ended up falling flat on my face. Everyone laughed, but I was so embarrassed that I wanted to die. Thankfully, both of these stories have happy endings. The boy in my class eventually became one of my best friends, and the incident at the party made for a great story that we can all laugh about now. However, at the time, they were both incredibly embarrassing moments that still make me cringe when I think about them.
