There was a member here, she was Ukrainian, living in Ukraine. I have not seen her around for a long time and I cannot recall her username. Does anyone remember her? Does anyone here know how she's doing?

I don’t recall anyone from Ukraine. There were some people from Russia I recall.

Yes, I know of who you are talking about. She was very involved in Ukrainian independence and actively protested against Russia. I’ve been thinking of her often lately. Hoping she is fine.

I, too, hope she is well. She was emphatically opposed to what was happening in Ukraine, and that was years ago. She seemed to be one who saw the handwriting on the wall. I'm hoping that someone can recall her username. I'm sure there's a mod or two who remembers it.

Venusss used to post a lot about Ukraine but she was neither Ukrainian nor lived there. She was very involved with the issues there starting early on when I personally couldn’t even predict that this war would happen. Actually I didn’t see venusss posting anything either and I hope she’s ok but I assume she’s not the one you asked about

Yes! Venusss was her username! I'm positive that's it. But she wasn't in Ukraine, or somewhere in eastern Europe? I guess I assumed, by her posts, that she was. Thank you for providing her name. Not being able to recall it was so annoying to me.

That is who I was thinking of too. She was from somewhere around there & very knowledgeable about the political climate in the area. Just checked her profile.....was from Czechoslovakia

She is from Czech Republic. She did travel to Ukraine and is very involved in politics in those regions . She hasn’t posted for awhile but I saw that she logged on recently so she must be ok. I hope. She is logging on the site so perhaps just reads
