I have two black cats and a brown tabby with white. I am definitely the crazy cat lady. When I'm freaking out on the phone with my treatment team they have me talk about my cats to distract me and calm me down. I even wrote a jingle about my Bean on the piano (same chords as Twist & Shout).

I'm happy to see dear *Beth* back again.
I sing little songs to my girl kitty, really softly. I take standard songs and change some words so they apply to her. She seems to really enjoy it---her purrs become very loud. Boy kitty, our other cat, wouldn't sit still long enough to listen to an entire song. He's so restless---he doesn't have a calm nerve in his entire body, poor dear. |

My angel Ebony only had one song she would relax to
Tigger is more interested in kisses and being cradled than music Willow, depends what mood she's in, sometimes she'll stay and listen to songs, other times she'll stalk off like I just sang about taking her to the vet ❤️ |
