For cosmetic or medical reasons or whatever? What was your experience with it? Was it painful afterwards?

I’m having it done next Friday. They keep calling it a surgery so I’m not sure what else will be done besides the liposuction or if it’s just called a surgery in general. I think they are referring to mine as corrective surgery.

I’m just kinda freaked out about it and with my PMDD going on it’s been rough emotionally. Not to mention I lost track of when it was and I thought it was in 2 weeks but it’s in 5.5 days.

It’s just a lot right now to comprehend with everything else. I can see why my mom had me get all 4 of my wisdom teeth out at one time despite only needing 2 out.

But I also want this so badly. So I know it will be good in the end.

I have never had liposuction, but I believe it is a surgery and they put you under general anesthesia. What part of your body are you having done?

It’s on my chest. It’s a follow up from the October one. Yeah I’ll be under general anesthesia and the whole intubation thing is getting me going. They did that last time. I guess maybe it’s the area they are working on since it’s close to my heart. I’m just kinda getting a bit nervous. Plus it’s 3 hours away in another state. Which means a 3 hour car ride the next day. Plus all the family **** my mom thought was a good idea to plan for those 3 days.

I’m getting my pain meds at a pharmacy near the hospital. So I’ll have stuff. I’m hoping to get by on just Tylenol since opiates make me nervous. But I probably will need a few.

I had my breasts reduced, but they didn't intubate. They put me under, but I was still breathing on my own

Yes, I have had liposuction before. I had it done for cosmetic reasons. I was unhappy with the way my body looked and felt. I wouldn't say I liked the way my clothes fit.

I am very happy with the results although I've lost quite a bit of weight since June 2021 so that helped too. But it was incredibly painful to get done and for a month I looked like someone beat the crap outta me, I was so bruised up. And the post op depression was bad.
