I did just now as I got triggered by something in ''social'' chat.

Some do not know about Fuzzybear's Wisdom as so many of her posts are deleted.

Not about the situation in the world.

I do write out a lot of posts and then not post them because I Think they're useless or even harmful. Sometimes I'll post something and then after a couple other responses put my foot in my mouth although I do still stand by what I say, I just don't always say it.

I like the posts you don't delete, Fuzzy. I appreciate the wisdom you do share (and the bear pics)

I've never seen anything that you've posted that I think is harmful or useless, MuddyBoots. I appreciate the posts and wisdom you share

Fuzzy, I appreciate what you post.

I can't remember ever deleting a post. Though there have been numerous times I've reread something I wrote and not posted it.

I’m like Liz. I sometimes reread a post before posting and decide not to post. I’ve never deleted something after posting it. Sometimes I find error s and edit a post but never deleted it.

The Skeezyks rarely posts threads of his own anymore. Mostly I'm in the Games forum nowadays. Once in a while I'll start writing a reply to another member's thread &, as I'm working on my reply, I'll think to myself: "Why am I writing this?" Then I delete it.

I'm sad when you delete posts, Fuzzy. I think to myself, "Fuzzy wrote something I would have liked to have read, something from her wonderful mind, but she doubted herself. So she deleted what she wrote. Now I'll never know what she was thinking, what she wanted to share."

When you delete a post it feels to me like you have tossed yourself on the rubbish heap, left yourself out in the cold, and allowed your nose to turn blue. I want you to be the girl who is brave enough to rescue yourself

I seldom delete posts, but I too often write posts and use the wrong words, so the post comes out with a meaning that is different than I intend. Usually that happens when I'm tired. I end up frustrated with myself. Upset with myself. Also, I get foggy from medication and cannot think of the word(s) I need so I use an inferior word that doesn't convey the meaning I want to convey.

Same here, the most likely reason for me is because people read my post the wrong way and caused others to be angry. That results in me deleting the post and then at a much later time, rewriting it so it doesn't make people mad but the good thing is that's a very rare occurrence but it does happen.

Yep I've done that and usually because a post I wrote either sounded too whiny which I don't want or people read it the wrong way and got angry. Usually I'll delete the post and then let some time pass before rewriting it and making sure no one will get mad but the good thing that's a rare occurrence but it does happen from time to time.

Yeah, I've deleted quite a few Fuzzy. I self-doubt a lot, but usually if I think my post might give someone negative ideas, then I'll delete. Or if I think I've painted myself as some kind of monster then I might delete that too.

Same here since words can be twisted or misread very easily even on this site and I've seen people get angry and think I'm some kind of horrible person which isn't the case. When that happens I delete my post immediately and rewrite it very carefully after some time passes because I don't want people thinking negative things about me that aren't true and the same goes for everyone else.

Yes, that's smart @rdgrad15. Can save a lot of hassle and frustration, for sure. I understand.

And obviously, yes, in real life too where if someone twists something someone has said into something terrible, then among their gossipy cohorts, they might devise a campaign of vindictiveness to impact the persons life as well. I've seen this sort of thing happen. It's vile. So, for me, yes it's a case of pick ones words carefully around certain people.

I say what I think & what I feel about things....what you see is what you get with me. If a truly contriversial post I just don't bother writing anything out in the first place & skip over it.

Have noticed lately, I really don't see things the way others do here & have not been very active on MSF lately because of that
