At 8:40pm it's 55f outside 70f inside.

Weather service is predicting freezing temps this time next week. I know lots of you already have those temps. Bare in mind I live in the subtropics. Freezing temps here can be a disaster. I'll put in a fair amount of time and some hard work getting most of my plants moved indoors. I feel sorry for farmers in the area who will be up all night trying to save their crops.

-3°C (27°F) outside. Varies inside from 18°C (65°F) downstairs, but 23°C or so (70-something F) upstairs. My husband is currently getting a fire going in the woodstove.

Oh yeah, mum’s not going outside at all. I’m only driving to the P.O to mail letters and to the library to return a book. Both from the car, not stepping a foot out in the cold. Brrr 🥶

It's 61f outside right now which feels nice. HOWEVER, the sheriff's office just posted a freeze watch for the area until midnight the 24th. A reminder, my area is subtropics. Freeze watch here is similar to travel advisory in the north.

Farmers near me have crews in the fields picking everything they can. If the fruit/veggies freeze they will lose their crops. I'm so glad my income is not dependent on the whims of Mother Nature. Sending positive energy to the farmers hit by Hurricane Ian. I know life is not fair, but two major hits in one growing season just isn't.

It’s -11F/-23C but the feels like temperature is -37F/-38C soo wind chills are very dangerous. Inside its 70F mum and I are fighting over inside temps, I prefer 70 she wants 72! 😃

52 foggy, bone-chilling, damp degrees outside.

I don't know what the inside is; it's different in different rooms, with the bathroom being quite chilly.

8F. Windy and it is snowing. Slippery out there. Work is closed due to the weather, lucky me. My husband made it to work and he says there was lot of ice on the road. I keep the house at 65. I plan on doing lots of household chores so I’ll be warm running up and down

-4F, feels like -27 (wind chill) with about 3 inches of snow.

My heatpump is on aux heating which means it changed over to the internal heat strips to heat the house. They gulp electricity. House is set to 63F but noticed it is only 60F in here. Have my electric fireplace going in my family room & my bedroom upstairs. My kitty, Gabe is curled up in my chair trying to stay warm. Good day for baking. Had the water dripping in my kitchen to keep pipes from freezing. Dripped it into my plant watering container so I wouldn't waste water. This is definitely a frigid winter storm system that has hit the US

Outside it's -10°F. Inside it's 60°F.

Disgusted with the weather types around here for scaring the **** out of people and saying this was a big storm and to be all scared.

We got two inches of snow and some wind.

75f inside

An hour ago it was 72f outside. It's now 64f outside and starting to rain. Low tonight is supposed to be 30f.

Winter weather in Florida is bizarre. It can go from low 80s to freezing within 24 hours, them zoom back to the 80s. Cold is supposed to last days this time.

I spent yesterday afternoon bringing my orchids inside and potted plants up right next to the house. This afternoon will be spent bringing more plants inside and covering others. Am waiting for the rain to end before I cover plants. Don't need wet covers freezing to the plants.

Cross your fingers for me that the power stays on. We are usually the first to lose power, but with all the new equipment repairing the damage Ian did we might be okay.
