Hey,

I was just wondering whether you have any songs that you listen to when you don't feel your best, the kind that always picks you up or maybe a certain one that picks you up in a certain situation. Anything that helps you really.

For example for me, at the moment it's Give Me Back My Life by Papa Roach. But it changes a lot and it spans across all the genres at various times.

Let's see if our songs can make other people feel better too!

Song From A Secret Garden by Secret Garden

Title track from the album. Worth listening to. Very soothing especially when your mood is down.

Sergei Rachmaninoff several pieces. Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini, both 2nd and 3rd piano concerts and some other pieces, vocalize opus 34 etc

Can’t say it really helps anything as I am more into visual art than music but I think the world has some hope if humans are able to write and play music like that. So it’s uplifting in that way even if it’s not really happy jolly kind jingles. It restores my faith in humanity in these trying times
Thanks for this!

My hearing is not good so that's why I often go for classic music. One of my favourite pieces that lift me up would be Sarabande by Handel. If I run the subtitles on more regular music I would pick Shiney Happy People by REM.
