 .......Well........I gotta say, today was not a good day......It rained all day yesterday, which saturated the ground.....And today was a double whammy of extremely high wind gusts--50-60mph and temps in in low 20s.....As a result of all this, a huge section of my 6ft privacy fence came down, and also 2 large trees in my front yard were partially uprooted--they are literally about to fall down.......Just to add to the fun, I called my homeowners insurance, and no one will be in the office until TUESDAY..!!! I was so afraid of the leaning trees I panicked and called the police.....The fire department guys came too, but not sure why.....They told me the trees were dangerous, and would have to be cut down immediately......Well, by then it was 4pm, and the soonest the tree guys can come is tomorrow morning at 8am. My daughter came over and is staying with me tonight, just in case I have to leave the house.......I'm so scared of those trees, I'm sitting here hoping and praying they won't fall down tonight......I don't think I'll be getting much sleep. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, so I'm pretty sure the tree removal is going to cost me a ton of money......I'm lucky my son is going to help me out with that. Anyway, all that stuff is why I haven't been on here until now.....I'm a nervous wreck and my anxiety is through the roof........**SIGH**
