I think the phrase - "Having said that . . . " - is getting overused. Also - "At the end of the day . . . "

I wonder if I should take my son on the Easter egg hunt at 12:00 today. It’s raining on and off. Weather is miserable.

My mission, should I choose to accept it, is to 'get my a__ together' and have a productive weekend. Finding enough of 'my a__' and jigsawing enough of it together to be of practical value is the question. The bigger question perhaps is do I have what it takes to even bother looking.

Lucky to make it this far in this good a shape. Been a fair enough run. Thankful for that but it was plenty painful for much of the way. Wish I had done a better job throughout and at the same time wish I had been better done by at some crucial points. Overall grateful. Could have used some important questions answered but that's ok. Life really has been more than fair enough.
