Happy (early) Valentine's Day to those who celebrate it.
 I've been my own Valentine's for 7 years now. It does not bother me to be without a man or woman, although it would be nice. This year, my new kitty is my Valentine and I am planning on doing something special for us. I am not sure what, I am hoping for suggestions. I always see the "romantic dinner for me and pup/kitty" memes and I am hoping to do that for me and Elwood with maybe fettuccine alfredo, but I'd be light with Elwood's portion. I don't do candles but maybe LED candlelight and wine glasses. Then, for myself, I have fancy chard and strawberry and cream chocolate and flowers, and I plan to watch Rocky Horror. What have your Valentine's been like? Do you have a Valentine's this year? Do you like this holiday at all? I always embrace it and do something nice for myself, rather than weep for being alone, not to make light of anyone else, but I am a firm believer of self-care and I actually look forward to V-day every year because of this "love myself" mindset.

Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday! To me, it means the end of winter and the very earliest spring. The grasses are filled with yellow Sorrel and the first trees to blossom are getting pink and white flowers. I have had Valentines on and off throughout the years. I'm my own Valentine this year, well my 5 kitties and I, which is great! I bought myself the prettiest hand-crafted silver earrings (they remind me of silver sun rays) and a new pair of leggings (I needed a new basic black pair).

I love Valentine's Day too. I have a honey now, but I have booked a craniosacral session for myself for V-day. I used to always do something loving for myself that day. I'd like to branch out and do some kind things for others too. Romantic love is not the only kind of love. I want to embrace all forms.

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Personally I don’t celebrate. I think it’s just an enterprising money making scheme for businesses to sell merchandise. I won’t complain if my partner brings me chocolates after work though. He won’t though …..

No romantic partner here but I still really like Valentine's Day. My Dad gets me flowers and I am big into doing self care/self love stuff on Valentine's Day. This year it meant contacting a new therapist to see whether or not they had an opening. I might need someone who can give me more help than my current T can. Happy Valentine's Day to all.
